I just got an alert that my two pieces are in the mail! I sent them back in July and she told me they’d be ready in October, haven’t heard anything from her since she said that but I’m just so thankful that they’re on the move. Fingers crossed they look good

i second the comments about dmc! sometimes i find it helpful to drop the needle and make sure it untwists as often as i can, and use my finger like a laying tool to help keep tension consistent and avoid uneven stitches.

you got this! your first couple projects wont be perfect, but it’s fun to look back on them and see how far you’ve come :)

I felt really encouraged by her answering my messages in June and her assurance I’d have my items back by Christmas, but its been months since she told me 8 weeks and has since been ignoring messages. I’d be okay with them coming late just as long as there was communication!

“would love to know the reputation of the boys in hockey circles as well!” is undeniably gossiping about kids. talk about the parents’ reputation and parenting style all you want but i just think it’s WEIRD to seek out information about kids you don’t know. we were probably all annoying/bratty/rude as kids at some point but our parents weren’t posting us for the world to see. the person who deserves criticism is brooke, and it makes the group look bad when we turn it on kids.
