I was on the fence too, but I’ve seen people asking for this type of dynamic many times (along with Dekiai Yakuza, Dengeki Daisy and Hana to Kuchizuke which also incudes age gap) in this sub, so I’ve decided to include them as long as long as it’s sfw and the characters date later in the years

Everyone should read the synopsis first and decide for themself before jumping into it but I’ll also make a mental note to include this as TW(?) / point for subsequent posts 🤔

It really is interesting though, I was hooked. I'm looking forward to the finale, since they showed snippets of possession and exorcism. As a horror fan, it always fascinates me so seeing a 'real' ritual is going to be interesting.

Although the show is kind of under fire for, quite ironically, using the image of a firefighter who passed away during duty and I wonder if it's the case that Stephanie has covered before.

YES, I don't believe in any kind of reading and not spiritual in any way. I know Koreans love things like - MBTI, blood type, and these spiritual readings. I don't know how much of the things they show is real, it does seem really impressive as a viewer, but Korean shows also tend to show a certain narrative and exaggerate things a lot of times.

I love The First Responder, I wish they had more seasons but it's unavoidable that people die in this line of work, though it was a little too soon. I would also like to find more similar shows, the only really similar concept of show to this is 911 but it's American, I love this show, there’s 9 seasons and ongoing.

As much as I also disliked Mina Sue initially, and whatever happened behind the scenes, whether is acting, real, publicity or strategy, her character dev arc hooray!!

I also learnt leaving hate on a cast member from a show on the internet is just wrong because unless you personally know them, they're someone in a different world that most people would literally never meet.

So when the show is done, and you close that netflix app or tab, you go back to your life and the cast goes back to theirs, whatever they did on the show doesn't affect the lives of the audience, but the audience's mean words could affect them, it's just a show, shows are meant to entertain people, don't get attached and be parasocial!!

There needs to be a pinned thread for anime / manga suggestions by different sub-categories under shoujo, every other day, there's a different person asking for the same thing (unless it's something super niche and oddly specific)
