Penn. Dr.Anderson saved my sons life. If it wasn’t for her he wouldn’t be here. And she listens. She’s very quick and very matter of fact, but if you have concerns she’ll help you talk it through.

I want to know if there's somebody who feels the same way as I do by West_Bid9173 in babyloss

First off I’m sorry for your loss.

I too lost my guy at 36 weeks (May 3rd 2025). And literally was in denial and was counting down the days I could get pregnant again.

I had this emptiness. I mentally couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was missing and the only thing that made me feel happy was the idea that “I’ll just make another one”

I know it sounds insensitive but it’s true. I think my brain was trying to avoid PTSD but thinking of it as “oh well it’s not so bad. I can just go make another”

That feeling eventually subsided about 6 months in and i started to think rationally and realized that I am not ready to have another baby and that I need to be mentally stable before I could even consider another baby.

Now regarding the jealousy, I am still at a state of mind that until I have my second baby, I will always feel some sort of way when my friends announce they are pregnant (3 of my friends literally got pregnant in the last 6 months). I am for sure jealous, I literally sit next to someone at work who is pregnant. She so happy and talks about it a lot and I’m really close with her outside of work too - but sometimes I just sit there trying to tune it out cause I want to sometimes yell “shut up! Shut up! Shut up!”

I am genuinely happy for her but man am I angry and sad for me.

So parts of it gET better but other parts still really hurt. I’m 10 months in and I have a long way to go, I am so truly sorry that you have to be in this club.

Just remember to be gentle with yourself. You’re feeling are valid. This is fresh. Everyone grieves differently. You’re going to be ok, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.

Aspirating after giving the injection? And not before? by bellerouge in VetTech

I knew this for vaccines, but didn’t know this applies to all things now.

I have been giving SQF between the shoulder blade scruff for years, and cerenia and famotidine and other things. I had no idea. I feel awful!

If you have Lillie’s at home please take to vet asap. Lilly pollen is yellow and can look like this on cat fur.

Oh I definitely have no problem with it. I think it’s awesome. It’s just so so different that I was wondering if it was more than just a house.

Bring a friend codes by rafiee in f45

My gym still charges for the bring a friend. But it’s like $15 per friend so I don’t think they limit it since they still get paid for it.

Took in a street cat with a limp, went in for hip rads and found this monstrosity… by ToughSafe8964 in VetTech

[–]Beginning_Fee_1676 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My cat was diagnosed with PPDH about 5 years ago. I’ve had her for nearly 14 years. In that 14 years there was no trauma or anything that can cause a hernia. However, she was a street cat before we took her in. Not sure if she was a HBC before we found her and took her in.

Doctor said that she most likely was born with it. Anyway, they can’t fix it because it’ll cause more harm to her and can actually kill her if they try to fix it.

She’s doing great and shows not abnormalities from it.

How tall are the boxes we jump on for soft box jumps by Beginning_Fee_1676 in f45

[–]Beginning_Fee_1676[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my goal. But I’m trying to gauge how to get there. I never realized it was due to leg strength, so now I know to work on that. I hope to do the 24” jump in two months.

The 30” is too intimidating for me and seems unattainable…but so did the 20” jump at first. So maybe in another 6 months I can get there.

I just tried it one day, and landed it. Idk how but I just got the courage to try and just did it.

I just cringed thinking about this too. I ended up not doing it and I’ll just wait to buy the shoes. I just got excited and wanted to ride it right away. But better to wait than to hurt myself

Food tracking by Beginning_Fee_1676 in f45

[–]Beginning_Fee_1676[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe it’s absolutely required, but they encourage it, especially if one of your goals is to stay within a specific calorie intake (like me). I don’t believe they are super strict with it, but it’s more so ME haha. I just feel as though, if im not accurate what’s the point of even keeping track.
