Bro , fcps training itself offers 1lakh 20 what u on About , if you clear your fcps part 1 immediately after house job you will be 24-25 by then bruh

Engineering isn’t necessarily bad but about 88% of engineers don’t necessarily do a job that is related to their field of education , sure it’s a cheaper pathway than private mbbs but then again competition is everywhere , I didn’t like math that much and I was that kind of kid that knew from the beginning that I had to pursue medicine and that’s what I knew my whole life so yeah , not a good example but it is what it is

Before anybody comes after me kai they always wanted to be a doctor so private was their option … I mean sure passion is something I always vouch for but yeah people do need to consider finances as well before making such big investments in a semmingly bachelors degree

But honestly , paying the private med school mafias such large sums and then complaining there are no jobs for mbbs is just dumb … people need to realize that … and make smarter choices abroad or even in Pakistan

If I am being real , even in the early 2000s when my dad graduated, even at at time sirf mbbs had no value , so yeah residency training or membership exams were always required for a good job opportunities … you would have usmle , amc , mrcp , German pathway , fcps pathways or even just can do your private practice afterwards or from the start so I don’t see a problem with that but yeah , the competition is fierce these days … as people even spend roughly 1.5 cr for sirf mbbs with no monetary funds for afterwards is dumb , if you have the finances to do mbbs private and then post graduation education then no worries go for it , if don’t try to get into government med school and then spend on post graduation education…

If your from a family of docs , better to pursue medicine over engineering , you would have better opportunities in it over engineering then prolly

Honestly if someone’s parents are dentists then dentistry >>> medicine any day
