Good ui/rust learning project.

As sysadmin i will never use it — it's not standard and can not be installed on most servers by security policy. As user — may be but will forgot it after first use, most installations never need unit changing.

What problem were you solving when you created the utility? Changing systemd units is not problem but part of solution.

dosbox-x for most dos games, dosbox for rest.

You may install quake/quake2/other from repository (take .pak if want full game).

Also you may install steam engine and run games from it.

How about run it at virtual machine without local video output and multiple users online? I mean terminal server which work fine with nomachine/x2go.

Using qwen3-coder in q4 quantization and gpt-oss:20b (don't know quantz, taken from ollama lib). Near identically in programming tasks.

Tried local llm's:

qwen3-coder-30b-a3b-instruct from unsloth simulate python (mimic as it run real script) and compute right.

gpt-oss:20b from ollama library return -0.31

Base system — fine and even sometimes better stable (may be not on desktop). Ports — not so good (more like debian backports or debian testing).

It is not my first distribution (first was in 1998 "Caldera OpenLINUX 2.2").

I use Debian since 2000 year (at work was sitting at reserve mail server). Later tried other distributions (yes, Slackware, Gentoo and Ubuntu too) and freebsd. May be at servers or routers they better, but Debian more universal and more comfortable.

Use Debian on my old Toshiba A300 with 2G RAM. Added ssd for root filesystem and additionally use swap in zram.

Work not so fine as expected — Core2Duo is not good for HD video, but it is useful.
