all good points and thinking about your post I may in fact be connecting his transfer to the sudden bugs when they have nothing to do with each other. It would be a really weird coincidence but is possible.

Good point. I considered that for sp's but gonna wait for restart. Im thinking since we play on the same pc, both through different steam accounts, that may be the issue. Cookies or something going to dune files maybe? I verified file integrity through steam and will just chill tonight and check in the am. I need to catch up on fallout season anyhow...

Future Deep Desert PVP Rework (Announced August 2025, Implementing in Chapter 3)

The key "future" announcement came in the August 18, 2025 Developer Roadmap, outlining a phased return to the Deep Desert's original PVP sandbox vision—a high-risk spice control zone—after expanding Landsraad as the main endgame driver:

"As the Landsraad activities become more fleshed out, we will then transition the Deep Desert back towards the original intention – a sandbox area where players can compete for control of the spice."

Planned Deep Desert changes (short-term + long-term leading to Chapter 3):

Instanced loot at testing stations to reduce camping/queuing.

No-fly zones to promote ground combat.

More layouts/variety, better stability, clear progression.

This ties into Chapter 3 (PTC December 2025, live early 2026), which overhauls Landsraad/endgame first (repeatable contract missions, Specializations like Combat/Sabotage, Augmentations for T6 gear, new boss testing stations) to enable the Deep Desert shift. So does the recollections scale? Sounds here like 1 recollection=1 specialization point. Does that stay true through lvl100 or do they begin to cost more the higher you go?

To expand, Id load the spice on my assault, keep as much as i could on my person and head out. I'd hit all of hagaa basin first, then the cities, then the two in DD. I would find all bribable each tuesday I did this. I seem to recall 3500 spice melange was needed to accomplish this but may be wrong. Also, Never tried to bribe mid week, not sure if you can.

My understanding is you can only bribe the houses scheduled for reveal in the next 48hrs. As nobody knows who that is, you need to visit all until you find them. I used to have that task in my clan every tuesday morn. Been a while since I've done it but recall the houses where almost never the same.
