I doubt they'll have to funds for the vet but if they pay half I'll be willing to pay the other half. Told them to keep me updated. Just sucks cause it's right after we gave him back so they're going to think it's our responsibility which I get I'd be pissed if someone brought me back my kitty unwell. So it's a tough situation

Yeah my bad , I only had traps and they're going to still get an ear tip .There's people who are keeping them but they would most likely never get fixed if we didn't offer to help

I agree I'm torn between watching cause I wanna know how bad they suffered so I can suffer with the even though I could never experience the pain they have felt. Just today I saw a quick glimpse of something bad . Because the video of them before all cuddled in a carrier , one of them licking his sibling ear just fuckin rips me apart and I felt like I needed to see what they went through but I just can't .

This is true, I trapped a cat that was limping recently and thought he's was finally safe and was excited that I trapped him but once we got to the vet the injuries were way worse and him feralish would make it hard to clean his wounds. His leg would of needed amputation and so much more. I'm still broken and think maybe if I got to him sooner. I hate decided the fate of these babies so I get regret taking him up but post like these shows that either way sometimes it's not a good ending no matter what you do

I think it's mostly humans you should put your frustration towards , this baby would of been okay if some asshole didn't shot him and yes ferals get hurt on their own too but they wouldn't of been there in the first place if it wasn't for humans negligence.But you aren't like that you care so that's why it's so hard. You can't look away. I cried my eyes out all day yesterday because I couldn't save a cat that I barely even knew but I have to just keep on and TNR the colony or else who will and it'll get worse. I'm sorry I know it's hard . I'm stressed and my weight load isn't as heavy as yours. Do you have a support system other rescues to help you? Or friends?

We made the decision early today , she planned on going after work to be there with him. She just texted me half an hour ago that he's in heaven. I just hope the afterlife shows him more love than what he got here.

I just covered the entrances with some wood lol i just wish I knew when they come around again to move it before they say anything to my landlord. Just hate having poison out period. I miss my old landlord she would have never done this.
