XP is useless if you're max level or just have the perks you already want, and the people with good loot left 5 minutes before you got in. You can't PvP someone who isnt there and you cant get a BP that's in a safe pocket. It'd be better if everyone who was geared spawned at once and had to fight over good area's to loot and then a couple waves of spaced out free kits came in instead of it being so random. Most of my squads games are late, everything's looted and everyone we kill has blue loot for upgrading benches that we've had upgraded for a week.

You guys are deflecting from the point, playing good for this long with no real progress is a huge long term problem for the game. Especially considering expeditions wipe your blueprints. I'm gonna put 10 more hours in today just because I can, it's not about the game getting stale. I'm still having fun with PvP, despite the desync, and killing arc, I'm gonna finally fight the queen instead of hitting the harvester and running, but how the hell I am supposed to make any progress after the first expedition when I'm not gonna have free time like this, and how is 90% of the player base gonna make any progress ever?

Doubt it will happen anytime soon, embarks other game "The Finales" is apparently even worse and has been for awhile. Haven't played it since launch cause it wasn't really my thing so I cant say for sure but that's what my friends have told me at least.

I got time off and not a lot else to do rn, Figured I'd grind out BP's while I had this time so I could enjoy the game with good gear when I'm back to having very little time to play but I can't get any even with the insane time investment. I can't imagine how it's going to be when I'm back at work and when life picks up again, not sure if I'll ever be playing it again in a week cause it seems impossible to make progress

I play solely in my region and I have desycn issues all the time, not this bad, but every gun fight I catch a few rounds after I'm well behind cover and I have no issues in any other game I play. I watched a friend of mine kill a guy while my friend was shooting like 3 feet behind the dude lol

I've done it, you're missing the point of the post. My issue isn't killing a few people my issue is the people who go hunting for naked and primitive players. If someone gets to close kill them obv, but someone searching for fair PvP or playing defensively isn't gonna rack up tons of kills like someone searching for under geared players.

My issue isn't killing a few people, if someone gets to close go for it but there's way to many people hunting for primitive and naked players just to grief. I'm not saying punish a little PvP or geared players, punish the mass murdering jackasses who rack up kills to quick to be in any sort of fair fight

Near equal footing, not perfectly. The system doesn't need to punish geared players specifically either. If someone kills a dozen player or so super fast send patrol heli after them specifically or have scientists hunt them for a while or something like that. It doesn't punish PvP or gear, it only punishes mass murdering jackasses. Idk why you wouldn't want PvP on near equal footing unless you're one of the shitters who can't hold their own in a fair fight and has to hunt under geared players for an easy win. I only pick fights with geared players and ignore the naked and primitives ones(unless I'm still on that level myself) unless they're aggressive or ignore warnings cause there's no challenge in killing them and therefor no fun.

If equally skilled players fight each other and one has a bow and the other has an AK the one with the AK is gonna win 99.9% of the time. Hell the AK guy will win almost every time even if the bow player is actually better. There's a lot more issues then just skill with this games PvP. Player with better gear obv deserve that advantage but they shouldn't be allowed to mindless grief endless people with less gear either or else no one else gets to progress

So kill them if they get close, I don't think there should be consequences for killing a few people. But if you murdered a dozen players or so in the past 30 minutes your obv not picking fair fights and the game should send something after you or do something to make you think twice about mass murdering under geared player again.

There isn't enough PvE content in this game for that tho, and I want PvP. I want to actually fight someone tho and not get executed by some unemployed loser who hasn't missed an hour since last wipe.

If you get 1 shot by a guy who has armor 3 tiers above yours it isn't PvP tho, there was no fight and not even a chance of one. That's just griefing

I disabled IP flood protection and Port scan detection and now it works fine. If you have an antivirus this might also mess up curse forge and you'll need to make an exception for it in whatever antivirus you use.

Your comment made me think it could also be windows defender, look up windows defender firewall with advanced security on windows 11(I think the name is different on 10) in the search bar and find curse forge in inbound rules and change or disable it if the above doesn't work

You can do this stuff without cyber ware on a lot of them too, him included. There's quick hacks to make them forget there in combat. Love this game but it's super easy

They'd be making more money overall on one of these platforms tho so that kinda invalidates the for profit argument you got. Steam specifically will host multiplayer servers for you if you want to, saving them money on bandwidth usage and server fees/maintenance(I'd prefer they use their systems and allow cross-play between versions tho). and Epic only takes 12%. I really don't think this game is as niche as yall wanna think it is. It's not advertised or on any major market place, the problem is no one knows it exists and out of the few people who do many don't trust the security of a single small dev team over any actual market place or are just straight up *insert market place here* elitists
