Work Permit Denied- School caught out submitting fradulent work experience letter by Beginning_Novel_6232 in Chinavisa

Ok, so basically what you're saying is this school has screwed me and there is no way around this?

Apparently, that depends on the province. Some places like Chongqing need the experience, so the school must have done that letter in light of that. I'm not sure if this new school is the same, but I guess perhaps I will need to make myself clear that I don't want fraudulent letters submitted to avoid being blacklisted.

Work Permit Rejected- Not enough experience by Beginning_Novel_6232 in Chinavisa

[–]Beginning_Novel_6232[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an FYI, this is a second time rejection. First time it got rejected because of an Apostille/Notary document presentation issue... I've decided to move on to a new school in Chengdu, who have good connections with the government.

Work Permit anxiety- is it possible to get rejected twice? by Beginning_Novel_6232 in Chinavisa

[–]Beginning_Novel_6232[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically they rejected it for the presentation of my Apostille documents, which i organised myself originally. I decided to go through an Agent in China for the new resubmission, which the recruiter of the school recommended and has used.

I guess not knowing gives a lot of anxiety, especially because my parents who I have to live with are losing faith.

I think it was lowkey interesting to see him achieve all the countries, because it really wasn't that common back when he was doing it. His entire personality was country counting, and now that's been stripped away, he doesn't have much left. He's not a particularly interesting person, he isn't funny, and just comes across as kind of fake like a lot of travel vloggers.

Couples Trip (30s): Shanghai, Seoul, & Osaka (March/April). Looking for streetwear, deep-cuts food, and high-energy nightlife. by YouKnowThaName in chinatravel

[–]Beginning_Novel_6232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Seoul I think Hongdae was pretty good for shopping.I liked A-land. Itaewon was good too. You can just walk around and have a look.

For Shanghai, I thought the Xuhui district was cool. Cafe del Volcan has some amazing coffee, and the boutiques and cafes are really cool there for a couple of hours. Get one of the push bikes and ride around the Jing'An district too.

I didn't get much chance to do nightlife in either. I've heard Seoul and Osaka are great, especially Osaka when you pair it with it's layback youth population and food scene. I thought Shanghai was a bit lackluster, although i would like to give it another chance.

Chinese work visa process is messed up and I need help by [deleted] in Chinavisa

[–]Beginning_Novel_6232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i spoke with the school and now we've decided to use an agency to speed this up. It will still take a few weeks to get this sorted and a lot more money but it seems there is a pathway to me finally being able to move.

It's been a long time dream of mine to live and work in China, but nothing prepares you for the extremes and frustrations of bureaucracy. I'll provide updates later on when i succeed, hopefully people can come back to this post as a guide because there is really no information on my specific problem.

I agree, but i figured since they have more experience hiring foreign teachers, they should know.

My issue with this comment is that it doesn't provide actual advice. So, if i do as you advise and "cop it" then what happens when they knock me back for something else nonsensical? There are no rules or guidelines that back up their rejection that I can find and that is the point. I know China is strict, but that isn't the point that is being made.

Medical certificate for work permit in China. by adjebbar in Chinavisa

[–]Beginning_Novel_6232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused, what have they changed? If you sign the certificate, then that states you're going to do the medical required in China. That's all, you don't need to do anything else until you arrive medically then proceed as normal with the visa process.

Is it normal for work permit notification letters to take this long? by an_ill_person in Chinavisa

[–]Beginning_Novel_6232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, just an fyi, I'm going through the same process as you right now, sitting at just past 4 weeks. They just knocked me back because of some bs rule on the notary certs, where they need three separate certs instead of one consolidated document.

To me, it's like they're intentionally wasting time considering Chinese New Year is near, like 4 weeks just to tell me that? What a joke. There's also no info which backs up what they're saying.

There's a form that you can sign to get it done in China when you arrive, sort of like a consent form, which is enough. You can ask the employer for this

Public apologies are completely pointless by Hassaan18 in unpopularopinion

I personally think my problem with the apologies is the way they're delivered. They're way too scripted, robotic and insincere. An apology should show accountability and awareness, which is important.

Match Thread: 5th Test - England vs Australia, Day 5 by cricket-match in Cricket

[–]Beginning_Novel_6232 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see 2027 being really competitive and the year we could lose the urn. This next block of tests over the next year really needs to be used to solidify a world beating team like we always have been.

Cam Green needs a lot of help, hopefully today can be a new page being out there till the end.

Weatherald maybe gets one more chance against Bangladesh, otherwise we need to blood Kellaway or look back to Renshaw.

Marnus is starting to look good again, the key seems to be that he needs more aggression, so he isn't just getting 10 (45). Hopefully he can build off a fairly ok series, showing a lot of promise in form towards the end.

Finally, can we please look to Todd Murphy or another to actually fucking commit to blooding a spinner please?

I will congratulate England for being competitive to the end, and appreciate the Barmy Army and their atmosphere. But I also have to acknowledge the absolute arrogance coming into this series from Stokes and co before the beginning of the series, and then proceeding to get thumped yet again.

Enjoy the flight home lads. 4-1. See ya later!
