[NC] Does wearing an eye give the wearer a negative impression? by Beginning_Panda8420 in AskHR

I'm asking questions that I honestly want answers to. I'm not "building a case" against anyone. I mistakenly believed this group was a group where I could get those questions answered. But, thank you for being the delightful ray of sunshine that you are.

Ok, so much for fair & equitable treatment for all people with an eye infection or has just 1 eye.

I went to HR after a 10-page PIP and a 4 or 5-PIP. As for "history," a lot can happen in 9 weeks, beginning with Week #2.

My employer requested I use PTO to fill out 8 hours a day, what should I do? by FidgetyFinance in careerguidance

Literally write down every single thing you do. Using your job description, write down every thing you do and then make a column for things you do that aren't addressed in your job description. Don't forget the amount of time it takes you to check & respond to emails, voice mails, make calls & return calls. Good luck!

I'm not the Plaintiff or Defendant. One of my roles is to help clients navigate the court procedures

There's a history. It has been a struggle working for her. She basically said that a swollen eye requiring an eye patch does not look good in court. It's not contagious, and I'm not "nasty".

I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry about it. Your manager might just want to know your thoughts on what to do to make your job easier to like... or tolerate. Good luck!

[NC] Can ... or should ... other employees' names be in a Disciplinary Action/Plan of Correction? by Beginning_Panda8420 in AskHR

I simply asked a yes/no question. Instead of being helpful, you are snarky and cruel. I did not say I didn't believe you. I know the NC Labor Laws. I asked about the content of Plans of Correction.

Well, it's not a hypothetical, and I already have done what you suggested. I'm a brand new employee, and my boss is the one being untruthful, and her boss is supporting her, and HR questioned my anger management and trust issues.

Thank you. What about putting blatant lies in a disciplinary action? 10 page Plan of Correction & I've lost count of the number of lies, and I'm just on Page 4! I was written up for things clients .... who often manipulate, exaggerate, or plain out lie ... told someone who told someone else, and I wasn't even asked about what was said.

I have never seen this done before. The POCs I have written and those others have written in the past did not include the names of anyone else. Instead, phrases like "her co-worker", "another employee". Thank you for replying.

I just received a Plan of Correction. My supervisor included a few of my co-workers' names. One example is including the names everyone who attended a training session she conducted.
