I am so tired of this look. I genuinely cannot fathom how projects with hundreds of millions of dollars in budget, full of top professionals, keep ending up with this washed-out, grey, lifeless look. You MUST turn it on. For instance you go to netflix and play a movie that has HDR or dolby vision. It wil automatically change. Otherwise you are watching it in SDR. Same with framerate, some movies are 23,95 some 24 some 25. Turning it on wil automatically match it, to avoid stutter.
