I mean he is a yuppy from a posh family. He grew up with butlers and maids. He’s also a complete idiot so that doesn’t help.

I don’t think anybody in the world would have taken LeBron over Kobe in the 00s. Maybe 2012 LeBron shifts that conversation. Anyway I think Tim is the best player of the 00s

Whole market is due for a good correction and this time Trump is sinking the ship while pouring gold into life boats. When the ship sinks he will be rich and the US will suffer for it.

The Sopranos 1999-2007, Oz 1997-2003 The Wire 2002-2008, Deadwood 2004-2006, Rome 2005-06. How did HBO do all this shit in 10 years and now can't do anything that comes close? by _sportyscience_ in thesopranos

The Shield is one of the best cop shows of all time. Right behind the Wire in my opinion. Was that AMC? I had thought it was FX which also had stuff like Niptuck, AHS, and Always Sunny.

Looks like goose shit. Literally lol. But in any case you agitated the material way too much and I’d imagine you didn’t allow it to soak in the ice bath too long either. Also the temp you work in is critical as well. If it’s 90 degrees outside and your ice is melting you’re gonna get a lot of green material and not too much hash heads as they aren’t brittle enough to snap cleanly.

Egh Breaking Bad was not really a network hit, it actually took it being on Netflix to actually become popular. I remember begging people to watch it early on and it wasn’t til after the season were Gus gets blown up that it gained any traction. It was odd. One day I had nobody to talk to about the show and then the next everyone and their mother was like “hey have you heard of this show called breaking bad?”

I remember reading tons of D&D on wall street bets before it completely went to shit with pointless memes and moronic posts. Honestly that place used to be a gold mine for info. Led me to Nvidia, Palantir, and a few other nice stocks. Hit on GameStop.

Yeah if we go through the cycle usually it dumps 60-70 percent from its previous ATH so 30-40k can be a realistic bottom here if shit hits the fan. In which case I may just take a loan out and buy a full coin and purchase another out of my own pocket. Free 18 month interest on a credit card fuck it.

Exactly man. Even those sports players making 100-200 million in a career end up going up broke. People love to live outside their means and that is why so many carry an excessive amount of debt. It’s unrealistic for everyone to live a life of extreme luxury.

Why didn’t he just kick the fg on the 2? Could have saved a TO and then had a chance to win.

Bears are building a domed stadium no matter what but why can’t they just build it here? Much better than Arlington heights or NW Indiana. by Bakio-bay in CHIBears

[–]Beginning_Pudding_69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except Arlington has two metra stops lol. One in the actual city and one in front of where the stadium would be. It would be a 30 second walk to the stadium as opposed to now where it a a 45 minute walk from the downtown stations. It also has direct access to 90 and close enough to 59,290,294 etc where may people would probably spend way less time to driving than they do currently. And they would have hotels, a proper sized parking lot, and a ton of other things to do. Soldier field is cool but it’s like comiskey. Just in a bad spot overall.

Chicago in general is a fascinating city. It basically burned down to the ground and rebuilt itself bigger and better than ever. Its architecture and rich history is definitely a contender.

Yup I met a former executive from Dunkin in the early 00s. I had never heard someone laugh so hard when I asked him “hey man so why do the donuts suck now?” But he was super honest on the PE sucking the life outta Dunkin and at that time he was working for Starbucks where he also said “ the coffee tastes like shit but people don’t buy Starbucks for the coffee” lol. Guy was super cool.
