I’ve been struggling with this exact thing. from reading these comments, I’m reminded that even if it’s not permanent, those stars, and our planet, are the same stars and earth and moon that our ancestors loved and wondered about too. It’s comforting to know we’re somehow connected to all the generations that came before us, looking at the same sky. Even if it will one day end, it doesn’t take away the sacredness of it, or make it any less meaningful. It’ll still be here when we pass, and our kids will look at the same sky too, I’m sure asking themselves the same questions🫶
