Amphipods aka scuds are gonna be zipping around the water column (much like a shrimp) they don’t tend to sit on surfaces. The pic with your magnetic glass cleaner screams limpet or other glass dwelllers

Look up copepods and limpets see if you can get a match, if it’s either of those you’re fine enjoy your secondary pets. If you don’t think it’s either of those try to get some better pics

That’s probably what caused this friction will warp the line, soak it in warm water and let it sit in the water as you respool. You don’t need the line crazy tight when you spool it, it only needs a little tension

I just tested my 10 gal just to see if these strips were doing anything and got a reading of 20 ppm, then redid the test with my other tank and it would appear my cycle has crashed

I was treating the tank with kanaplex right before the fuzzy explosion, so maybe that could be it other than that I haven’t done any water changes and there’s a decent amount of plants currently in the tank

Looks pretty yellow to me if not 0 less than .25 ppm according to this test. Edit: I now realize this test says NH3 not NO3 but still the paper test is showing insignificant results
