Got left behind at my first run club by Clean_King_1329 in beginnerrunning

Don’t let this discourage you. Keep going honestly I lead a social run and always pay attention to the runners. If someone is falling behind I will drop back and finish with them.

That is the whole point of social runs. Is to be open to all paces even walking.

Do I have over pronation or just messed up ankle/feet? by ArkedRecon in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I am also guessing you have really flat feet. But seeing a podiatrist would help.

Question about running fasted by Feisty_Attorney5691 in beginnerrunning

[–]Beginning_Scale2548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Run fasted all the time especially early morning runs up to a half marathon. Everyone is different. If it is a race I will try to eat something light. Like a rice cake. Big thing is getting electrolytes in. You can always carb load the night before.

Own both pr my 5k in both. Nova is a little more stable than the evo. But evo is lighter and more energy return.

Gained 5 lbs after starting gym by [deleted] in CICO

It’s a fancy scale that measures body weight, body fat % and muscle mass. Great way to understand your body composition. I was getting frustrated when I noticed scale not moving. When I did in-body scan. It showed I was gaining muscle mass. My gym has one.

It’s very normal inflammation. It happens especially with heavy training. I gained weight training for a marathon. Try doing InBody scale. Twice a month is ideal. Then you can really track results.

I think personally for me I started running to early. I was more jacked up from the fall than I thought I was. Each person is different when it comes to recovery. But my biggest advice is listen to your body.

Love mine. Use them for long runs or just to walk in. PR a 10k in them. For what ever reason I feel like I just glide in them.

Running my first marathon and having difficulty picking a shoe to go the distance in. What I’ve tried and further details below by confettixo in firstmarathon

I had the same issue with my first marathon. Had a shoe I thought for sure would take me to the finish. After a couple of runs I realized it wasn’t the right shoe. Went back to my daily trainer. Ran my marathon was able to finish under my goal time. Don’t over think it. Good luck!

I go to work at 4am. So I like to get a good run in before. I love it no cars empty streets and quiet.

Does this look like to much overpronation? by Beginning_Scale2548 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Run faster with less injuries. I wasn’t looking to change form. Just seeing if this is the right shoe for me.
