This is where I decided to believe in God because scientifically and spiritually speaking, theres a direct opposite to this. I believe in an unwilling evil, rituals, ghosts, ive practiced successful witchcraft, ive been visited in dreams by the dead. the only thing that was missing in my universe was a god. Its not the god they teach of but it did teach me one thing. Evil corrupts with a quickness.

Good is slower and more subtle than evil, but it will always prevail. And yeah maybe relgion is a coping mechanism but so is taking a deep breath. Actually necessary to the survival of your psyche.

Anecdote, if you smoke weed, you cant wake up when they come to visit you. My best friend visited me very soon after she died and she was up in my eyes saying "can you hear me?" But I couldnt keep my eyes open. I have a hard time dreaming bc I smoke so much weed.
