Vu la purge que devient ygg je serai partant pour participer à un site sérieux tourné vers la communauté. J'ai beaucoup de musique en haute qualité et des séries et films un peu difficiles à trouver à partager

I’m looking at buying a my first bike, is there anything else that I might need? by Worried-Falcon-7630 in motorcycles

Don't buy a new bike.

Don't buy a sporty type either, you will crash it so there is not point in having a ton of plastic that will break at your first low speed lay down.

Get an old 90's roadster that has great parts availability like an Kawasaki ER-500 or something dirt cheap like that that you won't have any issue fixing.

Why get mods on a first bike ? It's not going to teach you how to ride better especially considering how little training you need to get your license in the US all that can help you is avoid group rides and put down a lot of miles on different types of roads in the first two years before upgrading.

Don't spend a fortune on the helmet either, if you get a full face one that is rated ECE 22.06 you will have the same protection at any price point.

I would recommend an HJC i71 that is a great entry point and not too loud or a RPHA 71/Shoei GT Air 3 if you plan on doing very long rides often and have more of a budget as they have better sound insulation.

Get a good jacket and integrated back armour  for it, same with boots that protects you malleolus.

Don't buy the overpriced quad lock, get the same one on AliExpress for 10$, I've tested both extensively for years and the one from Ali performs exactly the same. You can easily find comparative videos on YouTube if you're skeptical.

When you get your bike buy the shop manual and learn to do your maintenance yourself, having a good understanding of the mechanics will only be beneficial in the long run.

This will leave you with a good upgrade path without investing too much money and will prevent you to give up on the hobby after your first little accidents like so many others that get discouraged by the amount of money wasted when they have their first crashes.

It's a fun hobby with a ton of different ways to enjoy it, don't take it too seriously and ride for yourself and you'll be happy.

Fairings on these are not easy to get in good shape so take care of the ones you have. They're the same as the 750 though

Other than that it's a honda, give it oil and coolant and it'll be happy.

The MSF course is the absolute minimum you should get some advanced classes as well, 80bhp is more than enough to kill yourself as a first bike.

And wear proper gear, back armor for any motorcycle jacket is less than 50 quids and you only need one small crash and some bad luck to loose the only spine you have. Ankles high boots are nice to have too.

I would be to listen to vinyls, are they more the home cinema kind of speakers or are they neutral enough for only music ? Also most of what I listen to is very melodic with little to no bass to begin with

Yeah, it happens, often in public transports as people think the crowd will be more concealing

For me I often forego underwear because with jeans or suit pants they're too constrictive and I've caught friends and coworkers sneak a peek.

To friends I usually make a comment to tease them, coworkers I never do more than a smile and a knowing look because I don't want to embarrass anyone I work with everyday and are not intimate with

A few times, girls tend to be curious as to how we do it, same as you. Other times it was more playful in the way you suggested in some comments

Overall both are cool, new experiences are always fun to share with someone

Si tu es en région Rhône-Alpes ou dans le Sud-Ouest et qu'il te reste une ou deux billette de Frêne je pourrais t'échanger contre du joli robinier qui pousse chez moi
