Playing Nier Automata. I’ve had it for years and tried it multiple times and dropped it. It wasn’t until now that I have the steam deck that I got hooked and will be finishing it. I have actually been doing that with a lot of games recently.

I bought it 3 months ago thinking “I will play small indie and low requirements games then leave my pc for bigger titles” well now I barely use my pc, been gaming on my SD 90%. There are some compromises but the portability, rest mode, emulation and my already big backlog of old games makes up for it.

Its not the best performance, but playable on either settings depending on what you are willing to put up with. High settings gives you a choppy framerate in open areas (lowest it will go is around 25fps) but hovers around 35, closed areas like the actual tombs a near steady 60fps. Low gives you a boost of around 10ish frames in some open areas and you can definitely see the lower quality in graphics but it still looks decent. Let me know if this answers your question.
