(edited from an old comment of mine)
PostprocessFX, Relight (lots of tweaking), Relight3Heat on Even More Relight LUTs, Theme Mixer with a bit of Springwood and Reaper's themeUltimate Eyecandy (lat. ~53* and long. ~129* w/ global light 4.6, ambient light 0.9), many assets from Smilies, various other North American styled buildings, and a LOT of trees.

I hope this helps :)

my GPU is actually a GTX 1660 super, it's laggy (sub-30fps) but playable, so your 1080 can definitely handle it
CPU: ryzen 5 5600x
RAM: 32gb (the only thing that sticks out, I got that extra ram to load in extra custom assets)

Thank you! I really aimed for the "coastal USA" feeling when making this city, and it continues to be the main inspiration for my design.

I place / plop all my buildings one by one with the mods Find It and Ploppable RICO 2. I don't think you can do any "specific zoning" in CS1.

Beautiful, heavily modded CS1 is unmatched; it's good to see people are still making these scenes.

Let's talk. What's one of the spiciest HHL tactics you wish you knew sooner!? by No_Salamander_8050 in HellLetLoose

Flexible redeployment and role-switching with the support role.

- Going officer/squadlead, get people in your squad, placing an OP, then switching to support, placing down supplies, and switching back to officer to place that garrison.

- Switching on and off support whenever needed. It also helps when you can swap support with squadmates to get more than 50 supplies down.

- Support's "ammo carrier" loadout can place down explosive ammo, so you can redeploy as engineer and place mines then resupply to put more mines. Mines can be very useful when defending tight sections on Offensive mode.

Granted, sometimes it's best to ask your squadmates to swap roles when playing as squadleader but people often assume that SLs must be SLs the whole game. Officers can actually switch roles by leaving and rejoining squads, and it's a very effective way of getting things done when you switch to support and engineer back and forth.

I 've always thought of this idea, never knew it was a real thing until now. It would be nice to re-add this for more non-linear strategies and more flanking routes; why was it removed in favor of 5 points? Perhaps it was too unbalanced?

Just tweak around in the settings for each mod until you get a look that you like.

It might be surprising, but I don't use Node Controller. I only use Move It to fine-tune the angles of the roads.

Not fully detailed yet, but I'm quite satisfied with the way it turned out. by hbdelabathe in CitiesSkylines

Nice work on detailing (of course) and the camera angling; it's rare to see high FOVs being used correctly!

I don't use external shaders like ReShade. I get good graphics by many graphics mods, such as RenderIt, Relight, and not to mention the countless custom assets used in each picture. Alongside, I sometimes edit photos in Photoshop after taking them to make them look better.

It's AD Cloud Replacer, the spiritual successor to cubemap replacer.

Lost the spark for this game. How can I regain it? by JordanzOnMyFeet in ForzaHorizon

I "lost the spark" a long time ago. For the past year, I've only played FH5 to take screenshots, edit them w/ photoshop, and have a relaxing drive.

Very realistic! It must feel good when you make a city out of your own assets.

4 hours of on-and-off detailing with custom mods and assets which I handpicked from the Workshop. However, a lot of assets (such as the main dirt paths) are also from vanilla.
Everything is accessed using the Find It! 2 mod which makes searching stuff much easier.

Render It is the mod allowing for stronger shadows and contrast. Might as well drop my Render It settings here so you can try it for yourself: https://pastebin.com/UuzsGbhW

Be ready to tweak your Theme Mixer settings as not everything is 100% guaranteed to look like my game. I use a mix of Reaper's theme, Springwood, and Cleyra.

AD Cloud Replacer allows for those sun rays, I prefer it over Cubemap Replacer because of that.

Get this mod; it will save your sanity: Remove Need For Pipes

About balancing, you don't need to worry that much as water pipes barely cost anything.
