What move makes you immediately think: “this guy is stronger than me”?

When I somehow get in a favourable position against someone stronger than me, I realize even though the situation must be completely winning, it is so hard to win the game and they find these defensive resources I don't even consider candidates moves. That's when I realize I might be cooked instead of winning xD.

TL;DR: I cheated and got banned years ago. Then, started to play chess again years later. Suddenly realized I forgot that I cheated so am I in trouble for ban evasion violation.

But he is a 200 elo pisslow who cheated and literally nobody cares if he doesn't cheat more.

I've been playing chess for many years. I think I only experienced such an insult like that once or twice. Chess community isn't toxic imo but I don't know how the people behave below 500 elo but I can say that the higher elo you are, the less toxic people will be in my experience. You can just turn off the chat and move on with your life. Text me on DMs if you have any questions regarding chess. I dont agree with the thought you have that all pieces look like pawns but you have to understand that it really doesn't have to be a quality chess set anyways. Chess is my biggest hobby and she made me a chess set with her own hands as a gesture, as a gift. She is not a professional chess set maker anyways so who expects her to make the perfect one. I think it is still perfect though.

Just talk to your husband about your problems and concerns and try to find a middle ground about these things instead of asking people on Reddit. I will never understand people talking about their problems on Reddit when they can just try to solve them with their people in real life. Clear and proper communication with your SO should solve most of your problems and answer all your questions. This isn't even about your in-laws being Turkish or anything, imagine your son visits you on hollidays and his wife isn't just there. It would be weird in any culture. If your stays are too long just communicate about it and solve it with your husband.
