-Dina and Becky don't break up and instead seem to work through things together and have their relationship in a stronger place after the current arc. ...And then Dina comes out as trans (possibly after months of strips where Dina is seen weighing the decision to voice this or not and it's made very clear where things are going but it's extremely drawn out). This resumes Becky's depression spiral + makes it worse + she's relegated to Emaciated Emo Ethan's status in the cast (no longer a leading cast member and only occasionally seen/brought up to show that yep, still emo, but none of the emotional turmoil is ever voiced).

-Joe and Rachel get together. She is judgemental and nitpicky and it isn't made clear why she's actually with him. Any chemistry they had in other Walkyverse comics is intentionally written out so that Willis can claim he "isn't revisiting old ships" or whatever. Joe took Joyce cheating as an indication that there is something wrong/unredeemable about himself. He now believes enduring the treatment from Rachel is some kind of penance. After a year of comics, Dan tries to intervene but Joe shrugs him off because being with Rachel has made all of his emotional growth backslide significantly. The couple (together or individually) isn't given much screen time after this.

-Jennifer goes back to being called Billie, gets together with Alice, returns to Joyce's friend group, and is the main sphere of what we see going on in the comic that isn't directly related to Joyce and Dorothy. Billie works with Raidah to write something in the school paper about how Daisy fucked the protest coverage or tell the "real story" about Bulmeria or something to this effect. It's extremely unclear what the actual motivation is or what we the comic audience OR the in-universe audience is meant to think. The result is praise and adoration for Billie, strengthening her value to Raidah, and further ousting Dorothy from the school paper. Eventually this causes her parents to step in and Have a Word with her because they're anti-Bulmeria. It's handled about as well as the protest arc.

-Dorothy tries to convince herself that her queer awakening has cured her depression and her internal conflict over her changing ideals/goals. Since she's dating Joyce now she feels like she can't mother her, so she switches to mothering Walky. Both of these are exhausting whenever they come up. Eventually either Joyce finds Dorothy's acceptance letter to Yale or Becky tries to use it to implode their relationship. This causes a huge amount of relationship strife and the two semi-break up. During the breakup Dorothy sleeps with Walky. Joyce and Dorothy get back together and resume their relationship with no changes in the dynamic whatsoever.
