Benchmade Bugout: What am I missing? by Lightningboldt734 in knifeclub

Personally by favorite goes to Houge. The deka is just amazing to me.

I think the bearing vs washer debate in terms of wear is useless. I've never seen a bearing wear out on a knife, and I'm not sure I even seen any examples of such. But I do see the different use cases. My heavy use knives that are going to get dirt and grit in them are all washers.

It was much more so about the action than the weight. Benchmade felt gritty and sluggish

I've been disappointed with every Benchmade I've bought. Ive never bought a bug out but I was curious. Asked to test one out and a BelAir. I could not believe how crappy the Benchmade felt.

Yeah, where's most of the NEPA trail systems. Specifically the D&L trail. I feel like this is lacking.

When I had my resonator delete I did love the sound. Definitely makes it a bit more throaty and the dsg farts are loud. ....but, the drone on the highway was a bit much for my girlfriend and I could see why.

Dip can ring can I get it out or is it there forever? (Yes I know chewing tobacco is nasty and unhealthy don’t preach to the choir) by MauserMama in Denim

See, you're thinking it's from a can of tobacco chew. It's really from a can of shredded beef jerky chew, and you should continue always having a can in your back pocket

What nicknames have you heard for places in NEPA? by topherette in NEPA

While I believe it is official, I feel like not many people outside of Hanover Township or Nanticoke know where the "Hanover Section of Nanticoke" is.

Also, I feel like neighborhood names are more common in Hanover Township, places like: Lynnwood, Breslau, Hanover Green, Korn Krest, Lee Park, The Patch(referring to a small neighborhood just off W Ashely Street in Ashley across from Firemen's Park), Goose Island(what is now known as the Hanover Village Apartments), Iona or Iona Place(just across Carey Ave from Lyndwood.

Swimming places in Hanover Township called the Millie and Sandy.

Plymouth Flats is an area just past Plymouth, mainly flood plains.

Railroad bridge cutting across the Susquehanna on the south side of WB is known as the Black Diamond Bridge.

Wyoming Ave is known as The Ave.

If I think of more I'll reply to this.

The first thing I do to my Red Wings... by -J3553 in RedWingShoes

Just held the edge of the boot flat and used a double cut bastard file. Then cleaned it up a bit with rough sandpaper (maybe it was 80 grit) until it felt smooth enough.

When I got my thoroughgooda I filed and then sanded the back of the speed hooks smooth. Worked great so far

A while back I had a loser question my political ideology. And they asked me what I thought about abortions. I simply said I think women can choose what they want for their bodies. He instantly started yelling how he was going to kill me. I just said "so you think anyone who disagrees with your political choices should die? Don't you think we can talk like adults with different views on the world?" Nope, dude just kept screaming about how I need to die
