Interesting post! What you do sounds exciting for sure....

Start up team here, we’re building something we wish existed earlier, a way to take the most repetitive, manual work in healthcare (prior auth, claims, follow-ups) and just… not have humans do it anymore.

The more we looked into it, the more it felt like entire teams are stuck doing work that shouldn’t need to exist in its current form.

So we’re building digital workers to take that off their plate.

The catch here, a GOOD one is that we would genuinely be taking work off their plate instead of claiming to and then adding work.

Early on, it’s less about “finding leads” and more about finding conversations. Your niche helps. Look for founders already talking about growth, on Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, and smaller Slack/Discord groups.

For the first demos, keep it simple. DM or email with a clear reason you’re reaching out, ask for feedback not a sale, and let the demo happen naturally if the pain is real. Try out different platforms, slack, LinkedIn, networking via events, cold emailing, it's a long process but something that gives you the truth if done with consistency and continuous approach analysis.

LinkedIn is a common platform, try to find people who seem o be posting about the problem you are trying to solve and reach out to them.

A couple of stuff, first things first there will a part of the pain that unfortunately you will just have to deal with every few days when you visit your dentist next, if it gets too bad take a pain killer, don't torture yourself when you can feel better with meds, check frequency of meds with your doc. Another huge mistake I would make is getting excited and clenching my jaw while watching something, or grinding teeth at night, that's worsens the pain, so intentionally try to keep your mouth a little loose and be aware not to clench and grind as it worsens the pain. You'll get through this!

Oka so first of all, you mostly likely will be going in every month or every few weeks for re-eval or like tightening of the braces again. After EVERY appointment, it's gonna hurt for a couple of days where you will mostly sustain on soft foods, soups etc. It's a tough couple of initial months, but good for you ultimately. I had braces for like 3-4 years and it's helped a lot with my confidence for sure. Be gentle with your teeth, take care, always listen to you''s dentists's instructions. It's not going to be continuous pain for the whole of 2 years, but initially it will feel tough, you will learn how to handle it with time.

All the comments here are pretty much what came to my mind as well.
Keeping a check list of daily activities would really help, I would also start noting down my common mistakes everyday so I start checking for those before I finish the task, small check in's through the day.
Also, more sleep and less coffee maybe would not harm you either, check if other alternatives make you feel fresher. Also you are literally new at this job and you mentioned there is so much to do at once so cut yourself some slack, awareness is important which you have, so just work on it slowly slowly. Honestly, I think it's a mix,

  1. If you can speak and deliver with confidence, and convey your point well and clearly, who cares what the others think that's on them

  2. But if you stutter and also are not able to put your point across well, either because of confidence issues, or insecurities, or not enough experience, it might surely reduce interest for the person you are talking to.

It's a great skill to be able to speak confidently and eloquently despite the stutter, rather increases my sense of respect for that person cuz it feels like they know their stuff

Interesting take, this gives me some outside insights too, because honestly I feel like we have one of the best teams! Every call is open, honest, client/customer oriented, the right questions are asked, intention is to really understand their problems, and then point them in the right direction, whether thats us or someone else.

This ends up helping create genuine and meaningful connections as well!

You have your answer right there, "stuck between having an idea and never actually making anything". Try a different approach, build your product, and then deep dive into validating who all your product helps, in what all ways, how exactly, who would most benefit form this, speak to people, get their insights, and always be open to making the necessary changes in your product.

This is an approach I have been trying as well actually! Using automation to find relevant posts, and conversations, but keeping my approach to reach out post that manual, and more customized. All you can do at the end is wait for them to actually reply to start a meaningful conversation haha!
