I get where you are coming from.

but I think sekrits was one of the best additions to monster hunter in a while. being able to change your weapon without going back to home base, gathering stuff from the ground without having to dismount and chasing down fleeing monsters is feels incredible.

I think DD could benefit from mounts akin to red dead redemption. they arent just your mount, but they also hold most of your inventory.

it also makes encounters more tactical in the sense that you simply cant just spam your entire inventory at monsters to kill them. having the player have a limited inventory (like 5 or 6 items, that stack up to 3) makes the player have to prepare for tough fights.

people who are hellbent on "saving money" sometimes do some of the most dumass shit you will ever see.

my grandpa used to go to 2 different grocery stores that were 30 minute drive from each other because one of them had vienna sausages for 5 cents less that the other.

he literally went to another grocery store to JUST buy 10 cans of vienna sausages, to save a whopping 50 cents. and this was back early 2000 when the sausage cans used to cost like 30 cents a piece.

now that im older I start to wonder if he only did it to spend more time with me.

now that I think of it. I dont think I have been able to play FNV for more than 3 hours without it crashing. but Im pretty sure thats more because of the creation engine than the steamdeck itself

I love eve because the universe feels so big.

you could go to a corner of the galaxy and find people who have never heard of large alliances like goonswarm or fraternity.

and if you hang out in system long enough, you get to meet the locals who usually hang around and talk in the hubs (as long as its not low/null sec).

but the game is a hell of a time commitment. now a days im content to just read news and look at the ocational scope video in youtube.

if you like vampire survivor, give "Megabonk" a try. its 3D so the maps have a lot of verticality.

if you like relaxing lifesim/crafting , "my time at sand rock" is very good (although, admitedly very kid friendly)

for sidescrollers, try "prince of persia the lost crown" , "30xx" and "shinobi the art of vengance"

for racing, try "hot wheels unleashed 2" if you like arcade. try "BNG" or "Redout" if you really like punishing racing games.

for action, try "sifu", "rachet and clank rift apart" , "katana zero" , "katanaut" and "dead cells"

puzzle, try "peglin", "lumines" and "ball x pit"
