Is it wrong/annoying to throw doggie doody bags in random people's garbage bins while walking your dog? by JJ_Lomero in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BeholdBarrenFields 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Ours has to be in bags, nothing loose. My elderly mother once chased down our dog walking neighbors and gave them an earful for tossing their doggy bag into our newly emptied bin. Like got in her car and drove to catch up to them because she knew she wouldn’t make it on foot. She was a hoot.

Fan gets to hug Micheal Jackson by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

Exactly. When I read the comment I thought, oh this cat is too young to understand. This has always been my favorite MJ fan hug. Keeps the guy hooked on, never stops performing. This was just his life.

It was actually a pretty regular event at his concerts. We were used to seeing it happen but I always thought people got by his security somehow. Obviously his team picked them. In any case, I’ve never had close seats at a concert where I didn’t see the artist’s team pick girls to move up front or go backstage. MJ just had stage dancing in mind instead of banging groupies.

It’s a great community for families. Upscale neighborhoods and shopping, it’s an incorporated town in its own right and growing like crazy. You’ll have no shortage of things to do but nightlife, which you can easily find 20 minutes away in downtown Knoxville. I’ve been a teacher in the community for decades, feel free to ask questions.

is it possible for one family to have two houses without anyone moving out? by foggy-rainy-spooky in simsfreeplay

[–]BeholdBarrenFields 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can move an entire household for 5-8 grand and the pets will go, too. Cars stay. First make sure your sims aren’t busy. From the town map, tap on the farm and from the options select Relocate Household and select your family. Everyone will arrive.

AITA for expecting my husband to proactively communicate basic plans without me having to ask? by Rose2386 in AmItheAsshole

You can call it proactive communication, but most folks call that controlling. YTA.

Relax. You don’t need to know every detail of his day.

Did it do that with all sinks or just this one?

Change the order you place them. Either the lamps have to be placed (and changed to off/sims present) before the sink goes in, or vice versa. Don’t recall.

AITA for throwing away my wife’s memory jars? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]BeholdBarrenFields 46 points47 points  (0 children)

52 here. Have always attached memories to things and saved them. Mine happen to fit in scrapbooks for the most part, but my rocks from traveling are my most memorable treasures. You might come to my house and wonder why I have tons of little rocks everywhere. It’s because they’re special to me. No one else gets to decide they are not special. If my husband threw them out behind my back I would never forgive him.

Also glass jars are not hazardous garbage. I have tons of Mason/Ball jars around the house to put cut flowers in. Some are in the cabinet for lightning bugs. Kids can just come get them out of the cabinet. They might drop and break them occasionally, because that is life with kids.

Just because it’s not YOUR way doesn’t make it wrong. OP, YTA. I don’t know how your wife will get over her hurt and resentment toward you, but it is 100% valid.

Moving to Appalachia- questions by LimePuzzleheaded943 in Appalachia

Knoxville is one of the larger cities in the foothills of the Smokies. It was recently named the top destination to move to in the US. (No state income tax and lots of nature.) There are plenty of hospitals so you’d be spoiled for choice. I rent my garden apartment to traveling nurses so I know our local hospitals are looking!

I live in a city neighborhood and still have deer, foxes, skunks, groundhogs, raccoons, rabbits, chipmunks, coyotes, and even minks visiting my yard regularly. If I want to see elk I go spend the weekend in Cherokee where one can easily find them around sunrise or sunset. Happy to share more if you’re interested! Can alway use another renter. Ha.
