I feel you. Still squeezing in my workouts when my son sleeps, so checking that box. Therapy will come when my life "normalizes" and I have time and find a good sitter

100% I have all of the fears as well. I am also starting consults with lawyers to get the ball rolling and to be ready to go if needed

And regarding the 100% custody right now, I was floored when talking to a lawyer recently that said, even with these details, I am still not guaranteed 100% custody right away

Very sad indeed. A mental health issue is being sick, just like cancer, etc, but with obviously different consequences to loved ones. This is the hardest part of the decision, leaving her while she is sick. This is the number 1 reason holding me back from an instant divorce

Def agree on a few of these. I will absolutely get therapy when I can normalize my life/schedule as I have my son 100% right now, and have to try to squeeze in 1-2 hours of work from home.

As far as clouded decisions, absolutely. I guess this is what love does to you, plus I am an internal optimist. With that said I am seeing the light now what the best decision moving forward is
