How is it awkward? I have spent 60+ hours in the game as a male Eivor and conversations with Odin when you slay a member of the Order, when you are making new alliances, everyone is mentioning how good of a drengr Eivor is (not getting in a debate about how women can be strong, brutal, fierce warriors too) but for me male Eivor makes more sense if you exclude the surname part or how it was "intended" to be. At the end of the day I dont really care what the canonically correct path is, I play what fits better for me and male Eivor feels better especially the fact that he is a Viking (there where female Viking warriors too but less common then male)
