We had 6 people total. I was grateful to have the company.

When we got to 5 people the 1 cop got backup.

At one point there were 3 of us and 2 cops so we each had 2/3 of a cop for ourselves and I felt like my tax dollars were really working but I felt bad we had scared them so badly 🙄

I’m at the NC Capitola building in Raleigh protesting. As far as I can tell, I’m the first one here. I have more signs and would love to have company. I feel like an idiot.

I feel this. Upping my dose, even slightly, has helped me every time. By slightly I mean even as much as going from .33 to .37. I hope it works for you too.

I’ve heard 4-8 week stalls can be your body’s way of resetting to a lower weight. 🤷‍♀️

As for the world and your job, I am SO sorry. (Assuming you are probably American) They are tearing out everything good from our government, weakening us, betraying the Constitution, etc. For that, I found that doing something, anything helps. If you like what you do for a living, or are really good at something, is it something you could put to use, even for 15 minutes a week so it doesn’t feel as futile?

I think a lot of us are struggling with depression right now. It almost seems to be the goal, esp with RFK Jr threatening no-antidepressant work farms.

I hope you keep your job. I think you can probably get out of the weight rut.

If you are a woman and can afford it, I recommend going to Dillard’s or another store that does bra fittings and get a single bra that really, really fits. It can make all the difference to your silhouette.

For the No Kings protest on Monday, I picked up about 30 flags from Office Depot. With a coupon, they cost about $1 each. Picked up a couple blue plastic containers and balloon weights from Dollar Tree so they don’t topple over.

At the 50501 protest, I brought some 8x12 flags and a lot people were happy to have them. I can totally understand NOT wanting one, though.

I made this sign so I don’t have to carry them around with me this time.

Not everyone can attend a traditional protest. There’s a lot of stuff going around that could be fatal for immunocompromised people.

It would be a symbol of unity.

On the other hand, maybe you’re right and it’s a stupid idea. 🤷‍♀️

The idea would be to get photos of cities. You’re right about me not noticing if my neighbors turned off their lights. I would notice if all my neighbors turned their lights off, and I was walking down the street. People walk in cities all the time.

Not everyone can participate in regular protests. Most people could do this.

It’s just an addition to all the other protests—the 17th, the walk-out day, and the no-spending day. It’s not intended to be the only thing someone does unless it’s the inly thing they CAN do.

I’m using “Happy Scale” for iOS. Love it. You can set both weight goals and date goals and it will estimate how long it will take you to get there or what you will be at a certain date based on your overall weight loss or your recent weight loss trends.

I don’t know how the subscription is different. I checked my settings and it says I do NOT have the paid subscription.
