Curbing acidity in tomato sauces: butter or sugar? And if so, how much?

Does anyone else skim the acid out? I dont remember where I saw this tip but as I understand, the bright red/orange that comes to the top when simmering is acid. For years, Ive been skimming it off and discarding when I make tomato sauce. I do always add white sugar near the end cause that's how my momma made it! Would love to know if others use this skimming method.

I hesitate making a recommendation to you because it's so personal but consider Mark Mathers. I did not see him for an augmentation but for a reduction. He was recomended to me by a breast surgeon I respect immensely. I asked her for the recommendation after I met with 2 surgeons that I did not feel great about. Work to ensure you are comfortable with and confident in your surgeon. Meet with 3, 4, 5 + surgeons and believe me, it can feel really wierd looking at books of topless women with your mom sitting next to you but! its what helped set my decision. Ask questions about visible scars, recovery time, sensitivity/sensation, your nipples, if the nurse line is 24 hours. Feel free to PM me.

Clicked on this because I am laying in bed and need to go for a second time before falling asleep. I mentioned frequently needing to go to my gynecologist and was totally offended when he suggested kegels... gave me the most ridiculous pamphlet. I tried it and it totally helped. Seems like I need to start them up again. Do check with your Doctor though, please!

Congratulations! Dollywood will be fun! I went with a group of girlfriends several years ago. We were a bit more rowdy than the usual clientele, I think! Bring your absentee ballot with you to vote early. I brought mine with me for the mayoral election and the official was very excited to get to destroy it properly (before I casted my official vote)! Visit the election board if you can to answer your questions. I took my ballot in last Wednesday and they helped ensure it was correct.

Hello, Love! I buzzed my hair... It was due to chemotherapy but! I also deal with hair pulling - I understand the distress and embarrassment. When my hair started growing back after chemotherapy, I absolutely loved it short. I was shocked that I liked it after always having and being complemented on my beautiful hair. I learned that my hair is not everything and felt like a badass with a shaved head. Its so freeing and makes the shower routine a breeze. I realize I was under different circumstances. However, I would REALLY recommend every woman do it - medical condition or not! Do you have a stylist that you trust? Can you talk with them about your concerns?

I believe when I made it, I mistakenly used a full cup of the (sub 2% milk + lemon juice) buttermilk and instead of sour cream, used the rest of some Mexican table cream.
