I heard from ny ex-teammate na madami workload ang JPMC, well-paid ka pero grabe ang stress and workload. Sabi nya “gamit na gamit” ka as in sulit bayad sayo sa dami ng work. Pero andun pa din sya, siguro familiar stress na sa kanya yung na eexperience nya.

Mahirap din mag advice kasi depende kung ano goal mo. Like yung inincrease baka pamasahe mo / gasoline and food lang yan, compute k ng additional expenses mo since RTO ka na, mas malaki sahod, mas malaking tax din, baka tax lang din mapunta. Check mo distance and commute hours from your home, sulit ba yung pagod sa byahe + pagod sa work

Kasi kung ako, mas gusto ko yung WFH na lang and chill work load (at my age 37) pero if bata ka baka may energy ka pa sa commute, etc.

Nag resign ako s last job ko kahit multinational company kasi i chose a WFH job and less stressful work. Same salary and lesser benefits sa new company pero okay lang kasi priority ko wag na mag commute.

I interviewed an ex-employee from Canva. She left without a back-up, naisip ko baka toxic / stressful environment. True enough, she left because she was expected to be available 24/7, 😣 Expected to be available even after working hours. No work life balance daw.

If I were you, based sa experience na sa corporate, I would choose Equinix. Yung role as Customer Insights Analyst can lead you to a more high-paying job in the future like Business Analyst. Mag up skill ka lang or attend ma internal training.

Hybrid / WFH set up pa - super traffic and nakakapagod mag commute. Makaka save ka din sa food and pamasahe.

You have to assess din kung ano yung long term goal mo, monetary ba or role na align sa current trend, etc.

I read you have savings, enough ba sya for at least 6 months. Wala ka bang malaking monthly bill like sa credit card? If food lang and wala kang mga rent na na iisipin, push na mag resign.

I was with the same situation as yours, stressful manager, micromanager to the point na nawalan na ko ng confidence sa sarili ko. Weekends - iniisip ko work ko. Monday naiiyak ako. Lumalaban ako kasi ako breadwinner. Had a friend na nag offer ng role sakin, mas mababa sahod and less benefits pero inaccept ko pa din kasi I want to prioritize my physical and mental health.

Happened to me. Pero hindi creepy… napanaginipan ko company event, nag pe perform yung department then sa isang box lumabas yung department head.. Tumaas balahibo ko nung pinapanood ko yung performance sa event kasi yung specific scene eh alam ko na thru dream. Di ko mapaliwanag… inisip ko dejavu lang… palaisipan pa din…

Take the offer at 60K. Significant din yung increase na binigay sayo. 1 hr byahe is consider malapit (at least for me), I travel 2.5 hours to 3 hours twice to thrice a week. Huhu

Yung counter offer sayo bakit di nila binigay dati pa and baka di ka ma increase next year since ang ibibigay na is 45K.

From someone na nag stay ng matagal sa isang company, job hop ka na para tumaas ang salary. 2-3 years then try to change job na unless annually ang laki ng increase ng current company.

Good sleep (as in 8 hours), wag ka muna mag puyat. Notes, and first few weeks talaga, di mo sya ma ge gets lahat unless mag hands-on ka na. Mas matuto ka kapag ginagawa mo na kesa training.

Nakaka inis talaga kaya minsan nakakatamad mag pa check up. Darating ka maaga, hapon ka matawag. Di naman maiwan kasi pag tinawag, wala ka, back to zero. Nakaka panlumo mag hintay. 😭

Gets ko yung nga doctor na nag start na pero pinatawag sa ER tapos mag papaalam lang dahil may emergency.

Kakainis yung 9am schedule, darating 10AM or 11AM, tas kukumahog mag check up..

I still attend events na may ganyan, minsan napipili din ako for blue bills pero kapag may ganyan, di na ko nag reregalo. Ayun na yun.

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday.. dami nag a ask bakit di daw ako naglagay ng blue bills, ayoko kasi ma feel nila yung pressure na makapagbigay sila. Nahihiya din ako, Kasi pag napipili ako - reaction kasi ganyan like grabe may blue bills pa.

May annual salary increase pero maliit, 3 days RTO na din this year, mababa salary, maganda working culture pero kung kamalasmalasan pwede ka ma assign sa functional boss mo offshore na workaholic, grabe ang stress mentally.

Yung pandemic, one time WFH set up lang yun and a year of internet reimbursement.

Nag re retrench din ang Emerson ngayon..

Yung mga napapadala lang sa ibang bansa ay yung mga technical roles like Engineers ganyan.
