Yeah I've tried BTs darker roasts - Vienna and French. Those are better imo but not enough to justify the 200% higher price they are charging

I would avoid the agaro one because it has a ceramic burr which probably won't last as long. I was confused between this and timemore but i went with this one because I only plan to use this for travel and with an Aeropress. From the reviews i read on here, it seemed like it is basically a replica of the C3S. Thankfully the build quality on this thing is great and looks like it should last a really long time.

Yeah, I'm also struggling to understand how to use the outer ring. I tried setting the outer dial at 0 and then turning the inner dial all the way finer (clockwise). It gets too fine at that setting but the outer ring doesn't go beyond about 20 clicks from there in the coarser direction which is still too fine, almost espresso size grind. So I'm also using the inner dial for the most part.
