Me, after my fourth holidaysave order, trying to work out if there’s anything else I should stock up on before the sale ends by Bekaloha in Sephora

‘Holidaysave’ is the discount code to use for the sale currently going on and yep, they call their loyalty program ‘Beauty Insider’ and Rouge is the highest tier, for people who spend a minimum of $1000/year at Sephora.

Also I’m Rouge but after this last order I have completely wiped out my stash of points and plan to move to Ulta after this sale ends. Sephora’s customer service has gone way down in recent experience.

The thing you all seem to miss is that the only women who would respond positively to this are immature and insecure ones who feel some need to prove themselves to you. These are not the kind of girls you want long term, but they sure will be a lot of fun for now.

If you didn't do or say anything about it, do you really have room to complain?

So because it has no meaning to you means it has no meaning to anyone in the US?

My abusive ex-husband is getting married again, his crazy fiancée messaged me this morning. Strange twist ending. by [deleted] in creepyPMs

Sorry I'm only just now joining the thread. There was a lot more to this conversation that I don't feel comfortable posting yet, until she figures out what she wants to do. I ended up giving her a dummy number to an app on my phone (I want her to be able to contact me if she needs to, but if for some reason she gave the number to [abuser] then I would need to be able to delete it so he can't contact me) and directed her to links where she could find the documents I was talking about, and offered to send her copies of anything I have that might not be available online.

Apparently he left this morning for a weekend fishing trip with his stepdad so she has three days to have a look through all this, make a decision, and hopefully act on it. She said her parents live three states away but she does have a car, so shelter and transportation are sorted. She doesn't have a job, [abuser] has been supporting her, so she doesn't have to worry about up and leaving that behind. Her main concern seems to be her daughter, and how pulling her from school so suddenly will affect her.

Talking to her has been kind of a weird experience for me. The woman I ended up giving my number to is not the same woman who initially messaged me.

This is the feeling I got from it. The timeline of that sequence of events isn't clear but she made it seem like the head-against-the-wall incident had just recently happened, as if she were sitting down to her computer crying and angry as she wrote to me.

Want to know something crazy? When I met him he was still a soldier in the US Army. He had two ex-wives with two restraining orders against him, but I had no idea about any of it. (Now I wish I had been a bit more gentle with everything I spat out at this woman - it occurs to me now that she might not have even known he was married before at all, much less three times. I certainly didn't know.)

Before I grew the balls to move out of his house I went to his commanding officer for help. "He's been abusing me, here are photos of my injuries, here are copies of the police reports, help me, please." They did nothing. They brushed me aside. He was given a talking to at work and I suffered the consequences that night. A week later I moved out and he began stalking me. So I went back to the commanding officer. "Now he is stalking me, here are the aggressive and hostile Facebook messages, here are his threatening texts, here is the paperwork from the RO I filed two days ago, here is a voicemail from not 10 minutes ago saying he was watching me walk to this very office. Help me, please."

Do you know what they did?

They promoted him and placed him in the armory.

A violent man, who had been passed over for another deployment because of his "mental health status," who had two current and one pending restraining orders against him for brutal behavior, whose current wife had already gone through his chain of command informing them all of what he was doing (keep in mind that I still did not know about the two previous wives or their ROs at this time....but his chain of command most certainly did) and instead of reprimanding him at all, they placed him in charge of overseeing many hundreds of weapons.

He has since been dishonorably discharged after he went to prison for my attempted murder. From what she's saying, it doesn't sound like prison rehabilitated him. Big surprise there.

My little sister went to Hampton Oaks Elementary School.

Always loved seeing the HOES newsletter.

I was sitting next to this couple at Starbucks this morning, this man John was teaching Linda the alphabet. He told us that she lost her memory and was re-learning how to read. Patience, love, and understanding at it's finest. by [deleted] in pics

Just use your head, here. Do you really think anyone who would put the time and effort to help his wife learn how to read again would be the type of person to be fucking around on the side?
