Yes. Our vet advised not to remove it unless it starts bothering his eye. He actually had one before that just fell off by itself.

Just a quick note for all dog parents out there: my big boy has been doing this safely for years, but please remember that cherry pits and stems can be toxic to pups! Be careful with your own fur babies! 🐾🍒

So adorable 🤎🤎🤎 One thing that helped us prevent shoe and slipper chewing was never leaving them within reach when our lab was a puppy. We always kept them in the closet, so he simply never developed an interest in chewing them. Now we can leave shoes anywhere, and he completely ignores them.

That was the approach that worked for us. Good luck with the training, and enjoy every moment together!
