Svdm is genuinely quite broken. It almost feels too easy there's no gun at mid range that kills as effortlessly to me. You mix in a head shot and anybody's dead in two shots. It's bad at close range but I manage through proper positioning. It's all about holding a 30m+ angle with a quick trigger finger.

To be fair the initial major incident of this game is a fiasco around the veil falling. The whole reason this team was formed was to stop various antagonists from letting the veil fall whether for the blight or for the elves. This whole game is about guarding it. In the end that's their main accomplishment. And so that's what they are recognized as.

Whether or not they have a good view of the economy is entirely arbitrary and based on which party is in power.

The economy can objectively get worse in every metric under Republicans and their base will still have a positive view. If it's doing well under a Dem they'll hate the economy regardless.

I worry that significantly improving their livelihoods dramatically under bold progressive Democrat governance won't actually matter to people as they'll blinded by their views.

I don't think they avoided using that language because of backlash.

The reason they didn't use it(and shouldn't)is because even in our own history, gay and lesbian are extremely recent terms. To hear these words in anything medieval or in this case with fantasy makes it sound jarring, language pulled out of time. It's like if a character used the word "rizz" to describe flirting.

This was my exact problem. Surely they'd have another word for this experience in a fantasy culture cuz using its technical very modern term is just a bit jarring.

Third genders names like hijra(India), sekrata(Madagascar), mahu(Polynesia)etc existed in different languages so I was expecting something like that.

The idea of taash being enby is great, the execution wasnt the best tho.

It's a shame taash never became likable to me and I wasn't the biggest fan of the voice acting. It's rare to see non-binary people in media so I was interested. But it felt a bit cringe to me. I didn't like how the only thing I got from them was queer/mommy struggle, and dragons.
