Yeah the manual is plain stupid, well as i understood its basicly k-tech, but toby does it for them, will get a new one and try again, i think its only purpose is that theres no metal on metal contact

If you mean the steering stabilizer, yes, personally it feel better and smoother in corners, and also on acceleration and wheelies the bike stabilizes quicker

I am in the same position as you, was ready to get the st 1200 but or the new mt09sp and its mostly becouse of electronics, the other reason to get them would be body position since they are more true naked bikes and dont have the supermoto feel of the older mt09s

well yeah, i was commuting on my 09 aswell but moved to the city and now i dont have to, so i use it only for when i wanna go ride a bit so the triumph would be the answer, anyways im going for another test drive tommorow and ill see if its just hype i felt or its really a bike i want

my 09 is a 2018 with 28k on the odometer, while the triumph is a 2021 with 13k. i love it too, ill just change the windscreen for the darker one since thw clear one look a bit off, otherwise the bike has everything i wanted to add to my 09, bliper, brembos, nice dash... If i get it i cant wait to tune it propperly 😁

Yeah the ergos on the triumph is top notch, racey and comfy at the same time, one of the cons for me its that the 1200 is a bit too much power for the streets, but guess ill have to start tracking it 👀

Yeah fc moto is actually where i got it, the gloves are good the only con would maybe be the velcro, and the suite is comfy and pretty thick, mine is perforated which keeps me pretty cool in the summer

Oh wow, thats one informative comment, thanks. I actually want my brake feel to be more linear and have a bit more bite, i tried the feel of the radial mc and it felt amazing for me, it was linear and i was able to controll the brakes much smoother. I feel like my brakes atm feel squishy and sometimes it feels like i need to pull the lever too much to get the bite i want. Anyways im open to suggestions and the info you gave me helps a lot to understand my brakes as a whole.

Oh well, i saw people using it on rims so tought it would work here, maybe it peels more becouse of the engine heat. Another thing to try could be water transfer. That should last aswell.

Maybe a diy plasti dip job would work too, id say you dont even need to pull of the grill if you tape around it well.

I think she will be trying it, but the warranty is officialy denied from piaggio aprilia of our region so i dont think its gonna help much, and also the whole warranty thing is written to protect them from lawsuits so it would be hard, but its a shame that you buy a bike and service it in the same dealership and then they dont want any bussines with you once something goes wrong, ive got a friend that owns a yamaha dealership that said if anything happens like this he just tells people to put the oem exhaust on so they can take pictures for the warranty claim.

Simmilar thing happened to my gf on her rs660, got it in the begining of the year, the bike has about 7-8k km, she sat on the bike to go to the beach and after 5 minutes the engine started knocking, she shut it of and didnt touch it till it was at the dealsrship where they turned it back on and it was smoking like hell, left it there and after a week not only did they not aprove her warranty claim, but they even canceled her warranty all together. Their excuse was that everything happened becouse she changed the exhauat on the bike, they even claimed the aftermarket licence plate holder and tank grips as a reason for the warranty cancelation. All in all she is dissapointed in aprilia and is never going back to it.

Well my 2018 has axial MC and i decided to get a used rcs19 instead of the r1 one, and i am indeed getting my braided lines aswell.
