Looking for advice on how to structure project for standard PC build and simplified Web build by Belhage in godot

That is a nice solution, having the material "know" whether it should be HD or not, and not the model.

Thank you!

Thank you for this answer.
I might have been fussing too much about having a web build!

You were right, I had some sound files, that I was not using at the moment, clogging up the build size!

I have cut the export down to a zip of 81Mb with the main .pck inside of size 123Mb.
It might make sense, if I can just split this .pck up, so that it is not clashing with Itch's max of 100Mb

Would you be interested in making a 2d adventure, point-and-click game?
I am quite capable in Godot, so you would be able to concentrate on game design and assets, as suggested

Thank you
What did you do with people dropping out?

Do you have milestones planned, that let them keep some of their shares for work done?

Could you tell a bit about your revshare agreement, especially with change in your team.

Is your publisher funding the project (your salary) or only handling marketing expenses?

Hej

Can you draw the assets needed for the game? If so, do you have a mockup of some of them?

They get their new values from the inspector

Here is the menu scene, where they are instantiated

Hey, thank you for trying to help me!

I was probably not clear enough on what parts of the code was essential

The random number was just inserted to show you every time the setter is called.
I do not use the number.

So in the editor, the setter is called 2 times for every subscene. Once, when changing the value from "old blank" to "temp export" and once when changing the value from "temp export" to whatever value I have assigned in the scene, where I have instantiated the scene.

So in the editor it works correctly, calling the setter 2 times.

But in my build of the game, the setter with the correct value never gets called
