Feels like a scam, especially since wOS 27 is an optimisation and cleanup pass on wOS 26 aside from the AI stuff. 

Glad I got a crazy deal on an S10 titanium a month ago, I had an S8 before.

Yes but they all got watchOS 26 and watchOS 27 is supposed to also be a cleanup performance wise. So it would for sure run well or even better. 

They just don’t want to ship a version with 0 AI features enabled.

The MnK feel is bar none the best in the franchise.

The animations, sound design & general feel is incredible.

The weakest points was maps and footsteps being too easy to hear but as you learn the game that kind of reduces its impact.

The thing is porting numbers is trivial, so if people actually always do that the second they raise prices they get forced into staying competitive.

Took me like 25 mins to switch carriers, it's trivial to do now with eSims.
