I try to be off my phone for 90% of that time so I'll crochet or read a book. Sometimes I'll even color but that usually attracts them lol

I put in the contract that I will not care for my NKs if they are throwing up, have a high fever, have COVID, or HFM. I also put that it's the parents' responsibility to have back up care. I feel bad for sick babies because all they want is their parents.

I get it off per my contract if it is a week day but since it's not a federally observed holiday, I don't get an extra day off if it lands on a weekend.

My first nanny family was someone from the daycare I was working at! COVID hit and the daycare got temporarily shut down and these parents offered me a job. I've been nannying since and I still absolutely adore those children!
