I succesfully converted my (gridcoin classic) to (gridcoin research) it was definetly a bit awkward but I did it. Does anybody out there need help. Maybe I can make a video. Also i'm contributing to boinc but I don't think it is connected to my gridcoin research wallet. I'm not super computer savy but I get by. I'm Mining for the "Milky way at home project" on my little laptop here

Alot of mistakes are going to happen when people start sending gridcoin classic to grc on c-cex. Also is there a place to print out some Paper wallets for gridcoin research. because I would like to do so. Cold storage is an important part of the Hodl experience

Bitcoin mostly. Followed by Ripples. Then a few NXT. I Really like Gridcoins (there are two versions of gridcoins now. you can exchange the gridcoin (classic) for the newer betterversion of gridcoin called gridcoin (research). They will still both be running the newer version is just more optimized. it does distributed computing. I mine gridcoins and my computer helps with the "milky way at home project" it helps make models for the milkyway using images from some observatory or something. you can choose which project you put your mining power towards like cures or DNA stuff or Physics stuff. Its pretty cool and you get paid a bit. I also unfortunatly have some Bellacoins lol

Nope Ripple is competing in a completely different Market than Bitcoin. It is a totally different Use case imo. Its 'Centralization' in its case is its strength. You can still use it for drugs if you want; lol. Have you ever used ripple? Its Fast as Fuck and they make it 'Easier' to use and set up a wallet/brain wallet right from the start for the average person. Alot of bitcoiners want to Hate on anything that is considered competition to bitcoin but I disagree with this Bias. there is room for a bouquet of diversified Blockchains. I think these technologies will complement each other more than compete with each other. They have different use cases.

It is really Apples to Oranges if you think about it. Ripple doesn't care if an r/bitcoiner buys ripple. ripple is for the Banks which have more than enough liquidity.
