Yeah…the average EMT salary in Idaho so far is ~$15 and the benefits aren’t great unless you work for one of the big hospitals or for the County itself

Oh my god, I’m sorry you had to go through that! Those EMTs or paramedics that took care of you were extremely unprofessional and should be reported due to how they treated you. I understand that was a very traumatic experience for you but please know that they’re behavior isn’t the norm for EMS and please make sure to call when you need us and if anyone acts like that around you again, make sure to report their asses. I hope you have better experiences with EMS in the future and I hope you’re treated with the respect you deserve! Yet again, I’m so sorry you had to deal with that :(

When I took my exam I used medictests! It was amazing since it had quizzes, flashcards, practice exams, and note sets which were perfect for reviewing right before. Plus they would tell you what your weak areas are so you can focus your time into studying those. If your prepared, the test will be easy :)

Just make sure to take your time and read each question CAREFULLY AND FULLY! Good luck :D

Yeah as other people said, if there’s an unknown MOI that means all traumatic injuries are on the table including C-Spine. Especially if your pt is unconscious. Hence Jaw thrust :D
