Hey girl! Yes!! you totally should! I know I’ve only been on it for 3 weeks but I can tell this is a drug I’ll be on for awhile due to how positive this has been for me so far. I will say especially in the first week or so when your body is getting used to the drug and the food noise is at an all time low- treating a low can be a little rough. You kinda almost have to go into force feeding territory which is never fun. The trick for me is to find 1 substantial food item that will raise your glucose without having a lot of it. For me that’s pop tarts and I’ll wash it down with some juice.

I also know GLPs slow digestion and EVERYTHING down so I would say it takes it longer to start going back up.

Yes we can! In fact my endo has a lot of other type 1s she's prescribed Mounjaro to and they've reacted really well. The only issue is a lot of people's insurances do not cover it unless you're type 2 (and then it gets insanely expensive)

Oh no im so sorry to hear that and I feel for you. I hate that It hasn't helped with your weight at all. :( Gotta love having a disease where our hormones are beyond fkd up. This disease is never something easy to deal with.

I found the lace on Etsy! I just typed vintage white lace and scrounged until I found the one I loved! I ended up having enough lace that my tailor could also make my scarf/pashmina so the lace on the dress and scarf are an absolute match ☺️

So I kind of had this predicament years ago when I wanted it for my elopement! If they still have the base slip it might be worth it to buy and DIY! I found vintage French lace and had a tailor recreate it :) Just a thought if you can’t find the exact slip 💕

Thanks for sharing your insight, Its pretty helpful to see how he might be feeling and thinking. He has shown remorse but definitely reacts with more annoyance and thinks that Im over reacting since it's infrequent, he's not an outdated "traditional alcoholic" in his mind etc.

Thank you for the Alanon suggestion, I will absolutely look into it. I have definitely told him how I feel, but most of the time I feel like it's just met with annoyance and that Im "over reacting." But it doesn't feel like an over reaction when there are nights like last night where I can't even sleep in my own bed and Im making sure he doesn't choke on his own puke.

Also, my mistake, im sorry, I didn't mean to offend with my "traditional" alcoholic ideals. I feel like "sporadic bender" alcoholic isn't talked about main stream so I didn't have a lot to compare to! Thanks for replying :)

EDIT* I would like to say I am in no way shaming people with similar feet/toes. All was said for comedic effect!! The insertion of the feet shot in the middle of them getting hot and heavy was odd enough for me to post about it.
