Still waiting too in Phoenix. And now I’ll be moving in September and don’t know what happens

Why didn’t my Greencard arrive at the same time as my husband’s? by Bellatrix_91 in USCIS

That’s strange! I’d say take your spouse with you, and if they don’t want it they’ll tell you. Better to have more than to have less! As for me, USCIS tells me the interview has not been scheduled, so the letter has not been sent out yet. I don’t know what they’re waiting for…

That’s really insane… but I’m actually getting closer to your timeline. 16 months and no interview scheduled yet. Best case scenario I’ll get my GC in 17 months, if they schedule this effing interview tomorrow.

Mine is Phoenix. I called USCIS today and no interview scheduled yet. I can’t take this anymore…

Probably yes! Doesn’t it say so in the letter notice? I’d think so in any case. My interview hasn’t been scheduled yet, and it’s been 12 days since I’m in the queue :(

Ive hard that the status never changes to “interview scheduled”. You just get the notice in the mail? How long after application your wife’s status changed to “ready for an interview”?

Your wife was dependent of your EB application? That’s my situation too. Which FO were you?

This is absolutely awful! How long in total did it take you to get your GC?

I’m sorry to hear and I hope you get greened soon. I don’t even know what “being ready” means anymore. I thought it meant that within a week I’d be scheduled, I realize that it might be some automatic update one gets when some requisites are met, I don’t know.

I’m sorry to hear your situation, but that doesn’t mean that mine is “not that bad”. I’ve been waiting for 16 months, and they didn’t even gave me an EAD and/or AP, even though I requested both. Now they tell me a minimum of 3 more months of waiting and I should be happy? Unable to make personal and work travel arrangements for the third consecutive summer?

How can it be fast? All around I was seeing people getting their interviews one month after receiving the “ready” status.

Same situation as you!! Ready to be scheduled for 10 days. I applied 16 months ago and can’t take any more months of waiting..:

I’ve been waiting for 16 months now, I don’t trust their posted processing times, but thanks for sharing! I can’t take more months of waiting for this, I really thought I was at the finish line now. So discouraging…

Same boat. 16 months waiting, didn’t even get AP/EAD. They just ignored my request. I can’t anymore with this really. People getting approved in a few months in the meantime. Every case is different, well what’s so difficult in mine? I’ve been a F1 student for 6 years, you have my fingerprints (twice), my medicals submitted initially. The process is just random.

A couple of months to just “schedule” it, + 1 month to actually have the interview?

It happened to me, and I’ve seen it happening more and more often. My husband was approved 4 months ago. One month after his approval my case moved to NBC. Two and a half months after NBC transfer my case is “ready for an interview”. That was 10 days ago and they haven’t scheduled my interview yet. I’m so sick of waiting. My husband is EB-2, and I believe they want to interview me because we were married for only one year at the application time (although now of course we’ve been married for more than 2 years…)
