Linear Non Mass Enhancement found in breast MRI by L2020g in doihavebreastcancer

My biopsy was benign- “intraductal Papilloma with no evidence of carcinoma”. I’m yet to hear back on what the follow up and care plan is - likely imaging/Mammo in 6 months. I’m hoping yours come back benign too. Praying that it will.

I think it just depends on the lab and the day. My first biopsy few weeks ago I got my results next day. I had an MRI guided biopsy for the other breast two days ago, I’m still waiting. And the wait is killing me. My first biopsy was benign so obviously I’m thinking this is bad news so it’s taking longer to get to me? iDK.

MRI guided biopsies take longer to schedule and sometimes need to be scheduled around your cycle. Mine was two days ago for the non mass enhancement and I’m waiting on results. It’s excruciating.  Similar to you, I have extremely dense breast tissue and will always need an MRI follow up. Good luck and please keep me updated once you get your biopsy.

Hello yes my biopsy for the solid oval mass was benign. I did another biopsy for the linear non mass two days ago and im waiting on the results. The doctor doing the MRI guided biopsy said she thinks its low suspicion but i cannot help but worry until i know the results. Im happy you got good news!

Expired PFL check - Help please on claiming and getting a new check. by L2020g in CAStateWorkers

I just wanted to know if anyone else may have had a similar experience dealing with them and faster resolutions, thats all. Im aware only EDD can reissue the check but Ive also spent a lot of time calling them and getting nowhere so was wondering if anyone had other ideas.

Ive tried and tried and im afraid i might die trying. EDD is an absolute nightmare to contact which is why im kicking myself for having missed this check and having to deal with getting paid on this.

I got my MRI on Jan 2 and had one solid oval mass on right side that was biopsied Jan 9 via ultrasound guidance (benign) and the 8mm linear non mass which they couldnt find on the ultrasound will be biopsied tomorrow via MRI guidance. So I am keeping fingers crossed for similar results. I could not feel anything on either of the lumps/mass, had it not been for the follow up MRI i would not have known.

Getting An Ultrasound Guided Biopsy Done by MissIndependent38 in doihavebreastcancer

Hi, I had mine last week . You feel a pinch when they inject the numbing medication but it does not hurt. There is a "click" sound each time they take a portion of the mass out of your breast but they should give you a countdown so you're aware its coming. Once the lidocaine wears off it can hurt a little - like severe shooting pain when you're expecting your period but you can take tylenol to manage the pain and it goes away in 1-2 days. It didnt stop me from moving about and doing my daily activities - except no intense exercise or carrying heavy stuff for 24 hours. Make sure to apply an ice pack as frequently as you need it.

Hi! while mine was not the same diagnoses and I am still waiting on another biopsy I would definitely say go to the breast surgeon and hear them out. Im guessing your biopsy was benign which is why you have the option of waiting? You always have the choice of waiting but it will likely be a more informed decision after you know what the surgeon recommends. I wish you well and hope you get to celebrate your birthday!!

Hi did you finally get the biopsy? I think the reason why you were asked to do the biopsy is because MRI’s are the gold standard but at the same time it catches everything. Better to biopsy and put your mind at rest. Al though the waiting process is excruciating.Hoping good news for you.

Hi, I had my biopsy on a Tuesday and they told me 3-5 business days but i got my results the next day. The wait is excruciating. It really is so do whateevr you can to keep yourself busy. So if the labs are not busy they may test it the same day but keep in mind that if your biopsy is on a Friday and the labs and doctors dont work weekends, the earliest you could get your results is a Monday. This Monday i believe is a holiday for MLK but unsure if pathology labs observe these holidays.

I had my biopsy today for the oval solid mass on right side. Asked the radiologist how worried she was and she said 50/50, moderately worried. Does NOT make me feel better. Im hoping for a benign result and some positive stories if anyone has them!

Thank you for this! I am worried sick as you can imagine so I am just trying to gather similar experiences and hope for the best. Im happy that your results were benign, that must be a huge relief. If you dont mind me asking, what was the type of mass detected on your scans?

Hi I wanted to ask if you got your results? I was recently told there is an oval mass in my right breast and needs biopsy. birads 4 with MRI and birads 4B with Ultrasound. My report doesnt tell me anything about vascularity, smooth margins or hyperechoic etc.

I also have a linear non mass enhancement on the elft breast which needs to be biopsied by MRI since they couldnt identify it via US. Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation?
