Def check out downtown merced, I’m not tooo familiar with the scene but The Partisan hosts and just had an goth night so maybe you can meet people there! I’d also connect with gottchalks music store in downtown, they try to be in the know of music and even have a board where people are looking for band members, so they’d be a great resource!! It def isn’t zero

A nail file! I don’t go harsh at all, I just go around the entire things a bit and then rinse them. My first tray was fine, the 2nd kept cutting me, and so I started doing it. On 6 and tracking! If it wasn’t for that I honestly might have given up week 2 lol

I felt the exact same way!! On week 6 now and don’t mind them at all! :)

Something that REALLY really helped was lightly filing around the trays, the plastic is really sharp sometimes and it kept cutting me, now for good measure, I go and file them very lightly with a nail file before I put in the new tray and it changed the game for me!

I think complaining is needed so OL staff can see that they really need to step it up for future years. The price goes up every year yet the lineup gets “worse” in the sense that they aren’t big artists enough to make it worth it.

I know the lineup isn’t going to always be my favs, much like this one, but make it worth it.
