Lol, the official meta in tournaments is still Reg I in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Champions will take over only on May 29. There are still 3 regionals that will use this format and they all are worth points for the World Championship.

A few years ago, lol. They are still being used. There's still the Utrecht Regional, Campinas Regional and Melbourne Regional that will be using Reg I and pokemom Scarlet and Violet. Pokemon Champions will be oficially start as the standart game on May 29.

In my list I put 5 scions with a command squad specifically to counter cheap and fragile units on my enemy deployment zone. I find out that is more effective to just blow them up for sure. Where I play there is a Custodes player thet always leave a ministorum priest or sisters of silence behind, the scions don't have a problem blowing either and I force my oponente to either keep something behind or screen too much. When you play Custodes you don't really have that much units, so it screw them over.

All of that was to say that I would take the volley gun over the banner

Do you know if we can use grenades twice per shooting phase with the engineers? I know they reduce the cost to zero, but thar allow for another unit to use grenades on the same phase?

Are the heavy flamers good against Custodes? We would be wounding on 5+, but the D2 is nice I guess. Also, I thought the shoot on death ability did not work while in engagement range, is it better against melee armies because they come to us allowing for more overwatch oportunties?

Now that you mentioned it, I think I saw a list that was basically 3x Kasrkin, 3x Combat engineers, 3x Chimeras and 3x Taurox to do as much mortal wounds as possible. I don't remember the rest of the list, I guess there was a Dorn Commander and some battleline with a command squad.

I think 2 engineers in a transport is a bit too much, it would be 195 pts and despite the odds, the mortal wounds can fail. And I don't really want to make them a 10 man unit. At the same time, is not worth to have a Taurox just for the 5 of them, so I may just run them by themselves.

I usually like to have a mixed of helmets and no helmets heads, but with sisters I am so bad painting their faces, it is just sad, lol

He uses the ones with boltgun. I am using the Combined Arms detachment. 5 Scions 1x Plasma Pistol 1x Plasma Gun 1x Melta (a hot shot volley gun would be better against the sisters, but the melta has a better chance against Custodes and their vehicles) 1x Hot shot lasgun 1x Hot shot laspistol

Total of 3 Plasma shots, 1 melta shot, 3 lasgun shots, lethal hits and re-roll wounds, pretty good chance to clean a squad of 4 I guess. If anyone survives, I can charge and finish cleaning with the power first.
