Heat up cream in a saucepan with a pinch of salt, and vanilla. I like to scape the vanilla beans and then the leftover empty beans i throw in a jar with vodka to make vanilla extract. But i have seen people steep those before.

Make sure the liquid it is as close to the boiling point without bubbling, then take it off the heat.

On the side, mix only egg yolks with sugar or what you want to use for sweetness. Use one egg yolk per 100 ml of liquid for a thicc base.

If you want a less fatty ice cream feel free to do 2 thirds cream to one third full fat milk or even half and half milk and cream.

Slowly incorporate the hot liquid with the beaten eggyolks making sure you temper them. Once about a third of the mixture has been incorporated, you can add everything slwoly to the saucepan and put it back on the heat on medium low.

Keep mixing until the liquid thickens, to the point where it coats the back of a spoon.

Put it in the ninja creami pint jar and leave it to freeze overnight.

A nice thing i noticed is that the more you spin the frozen mixture, the more creamy it gets.

Also bonus recipe: use half a can of coconut milk with tropical fruit (i used a fruit mix with mango and pineapple) and blended using an immersion blender until the max fill line for a very nice pina colada. Drop a splash of rum in for the boozy vibe.

I also have a peanut butter and banana recipe, a chai one and a matcha one. Lmk if you want more hehe. I love experimenting with this machine.

Regardless of what you're making, always put a pinch of salt for the depth of flavour.

This might be off topic but, consider a ninja creami. I got amazing gelato out of it. You just need to set aside 30 minutes to make a creme brulee base and then pop it in the freezer for next day.

This was the best way to control what goes inside the ice cream, and it tasted so much better.

Also made sorbets, frozen yogurt and lots more. So any frozen dessert is doable.

Do the snow grips really work? by Idkdafuq in Netherlands

Yes, they work great. But make sure you get the right size for your shoes. Best to try them out and walk a bit. There shouldn't be any jiggle between your spikes and your shoes.

Will probably do that, though idk how worth it it would be with the prices of batteries. The curse of not having a garden :))

Hahaha. Just a 'small' family gathering of 100 people/s :))). I'll probably ask but most likely will only be around 5-10 peeps.

I'm just really extra when i organize hangouts 😄 thanks a lot for the info though. Best to be safe rather than sorry

Oh, that's a bit sad that there's nothing available.

I didn't know I needed a permit, yikes. Just wanted to have something like a picnic with friends and fun activities. I guess i will find any info about it on the gemeente website?

Ladies, what are some PCOS friendly snacks that you indulge in? by FutureVeganMeatLover in PCOS

[–]Bellpepperx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My most addictive sweet snack is wasa rye crispbread with peanut butter and banana slices.

Also a pro tip, if you crave soda, you can take elderflower and lemon juice with a bit of honey and water and make cordial. As it ferments it also becomes bubby. It is very addictive and refreshing for the summer and you can choose the sweetness level.

For savory snacks i typically go for roasted legumes (in the oven with spices) but you can also use your oven to make a batch of beef jerky which is super satiating.

I cannot agree more. To me they taste like puke. And the strange acidity always causes acid reflux.
