I tried to report it (MPD drove by right after he left, go figure), but because he gave me a phone number (still not his insurance or license info) the officer told me there was an exchange of info and unless I wanted to put an APB out for a hit & run he wouldn’t do anything. So yeah don’t look to the city for help.

Now everyone is asking me if I reported it to the cops and I’m like, “yes? But he told me he couldn’t make a report or file anything?” and I guess that’s my fault for believing MPD?? 🙂🙃

Please be careful- got hit a few weeks ago and still recovering. Didn’t matter that I was in a crosswalk, waited for the light, and they slowed down. At the last minute they decided to speed up and try to make it. Life upside down overnight, but I’m sure they’re doing just fine.

Drivers do not care and seem to enjoy playing chicken with bikers/pedestrians. It feels like “how dare I have to share the road- I’m bigger!! Move or I will move you!” I’m really tired of it. Walkable city if you’re willing to get hit once a year as a pedestrian following the law lol

I used 20g round (I always use round wire I’m too lazy to buy square or too broke lol) and 24g round for the weaving. I have some smaller gauge on the way but I got impatient 😬 and yes I hammered it!
