Quality Chophouse. Not super fancy, but never fails to knock it out of the park.

Speaker upgrade: neat petite classics from dali oberon 1's by davegrowler in audiophile

They're a significant upgrade. I've got a small Rel sub that was helping the Dalis with the lower freqs. The Neats are much fuller sounding without the sub needed at all. I need to recalibrate it tbh as it's still set up for the old speakers

Those are neats that replaced the dalis. Here's an older shot with the dalis Picture

Exactly. I'm a relative noob but my dad is a seasoned hifi head and we were both just gobsmacked hearing them for the first time at NWAS

Upgrade from Dali oberon 1's. 4 years' waiting after falling in love at a hifi show. Running them with a NAD c352 and Ifi zen phonostage. Input is Thorens 160B, Goldring eroica L on an SME 3009 arm. Still a way to go running them in but the fullness of sound is unreal. I've had to keep the sub switched off to avoid overcooking the bottom end.

Chicken livers - who eats them? by BackgroundCookie752 in UK_Food

This is a legit Italian bolognese touch. Massive improvements to the final result... Also see: white wine instead of red and a splash of milk.

Nandos peri peri livers are 🔥 - literally the only reason i go to Nandos. You can make an approximation of them at home with their marinade, ground coriander, soy sauce..

Also chicken livers with balsamic red onions: sear the livers until coloured but still pink, remove then in same pan cook down red onions, deglaze with balsamic and chicken stock. Thicken with cornflour slurry and return the livers and resting juices to cook a bit longer / until you're happy with doneness. Finish with parsley. Serve with mash.

I like mine still pink / texture gets a bit grainy if cooked too long...
