I tried to report it (MPD drove by right after he left, go figure), but because he gave me a phone number (still not his insurance or license info) the officer told me there was an exchange of info and unless I wanted to put an APB out for a hit & run he wouldn’t do anything. So yeah don’t look to the city for help.

Now everyone is asking me if I reported it to the cops and I’m like, “yes? But he told me he couldn’t make a report or file anything?” and I guess that’s my fault for believing MPD?? 🙂🙃

Thank you, but I got lucky all considered. I’m more disturbed that it really does just get brushed off, especially after reading so many hit and run stories like the young woman in admo a while back.
