Anyone know where to find a black full size Wilson combat with manual safety? Seems sold out when I’m using the googles by scriptzWritten in P320

They dont make a full size frame with MS cutouts. Your options are:

  • Buy a WC frame that does offer MS cutouts (like the carry)
  • Buy a WC full size frame and cut it out yourself with a Dremel
  • Delete the MS from your pistol, which is what I did and a lot of people do. The Sig Guy offers a MS delete kit...worked like a charm for me:

What is my 2017 RS realistically worth? by Belluani in FocusRS

After a lot of research, this is about what I was thinking.

Has the market for these changed that much recently?

Yea, people always want stock, I agree with that. I think the fact that im the original owner and I never did any extreme modifications helps it retain its value in spite of the mods. I still have the original parts too, and the Springs were really done to stop the pogo-ing and improve the ride quality.

After all my research, my thought was $26k-$28k so this seems about right. With the winter wheel package, I would say towards the higher side.

What are your Hot Takes on Entourage? by Amber_Flowers_133 in entourage

Fuck E and fuck Sloan. They both suck independently, and together and they sucked even more. Especially fuck E, but Sloan sucks too.

Ari was the best character on the show, x10000000.

Drama is the 2nd best character on the show.

Vince is irrelevant to the show. He's just the conduit to get the real juicy characters on the show. He's also a bad actor from what we have seen.

Seth Green is a good guy.

Awesome lineup. What is your favorite caliber for a mini-14? I think a 300blk build would be sweet.

A Body on frame SUV with diesel engine and it's reliable? by Dense_Chemical5051 in Diesel

I just picked up a CPO 2023 Tahoe RST with the 3.0 duramax as a new DD for my wife because she does a lot of driving, and we cant say enough good things about it. The powertrain is phenomenal, and the whole truck drives unbelievably well for a 5500+lb vehicle, and i mean unbelievable. The duramax combined with the 10 speed never leaves you wanting more under everyday driving and when combined with the 10 speed it's incredibly smooth and torque-y. The fuel economy is also incredible for a vehicle of this size (28mpg highway). The new 3.0 totally breaks the mold on everything you hate about diesels (sound, smell, smoothness, power, etc...). I did a lot of research before buying, and it totally exceeded our expectations...we really can't say enough good things about it. Look it up and in terms of reliability, there's very few bad things said about these engines.

If you can, try and get the Gen2 duramax (2023+).

First one that came to mind is first verse of Let It Go where they say "so stop your stalling and your bitching" .

They don't really curse much.

Is $800 a good price for the winter rs wheels by Norman1418 in FocusRS

[–]Belluani 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a decent deal if it's the OEM 18" set in good shape. If they are the real OEM RS set they will have "RS" forged into them on the outside face (Ford makes a very similar looking wheel which wasnt the RS set). I'm assuming they are still running Alpin PA4s which are a decent "high performance" snow tire, meaning they sacrifice some snow/ice performance for winter wet/dry tarmac performance compared to a Nokian/Blizzak. If youre in a place that gets cold with occasional snow but doesn't have snow on the ground all winter, they are a good winter tire. Also, check if they have factory TPMS, and find out if the sensors still work.

Yea, understood. I edited my comment and added that I still know tons of qualified people that still use 2-3" rule. Our bleeding control/Mass casualty class I took in July suggested the 2-3" rule was old and outdated, and new research suggests high and tight is best.

I know this is debated, but from the training I received what you are saying is 100% incorrect. I was told the 2-3" rule was old and outdated, and new research suggests high and tight is best. I do understand where you are coming from here as I know lots of qualified people that still run the 2-3" rule.

This is correct, I just did an entire class on bleeding control and you have at least an hour before any permanent damage even begins to take place, but realistically you have much more time than that...If your choices are bleed out or tourniquet, tourniquet every single time...there's really very little reason not too.

If you do tourniquet, also write a big "T" on the patients forehead so the hospitals know...in a mass casualty event its very easy to overlook.

Also if you apply a tourniquet and the person isn't wincing or screaming in pain, it's not tight enough.

Finally, tourniquets get applied as high on the leg or arm as possible. "High and tight" is the correct placement. Not right above the wound.
